Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk ♥ Etude Pink Review + Swatches

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk: Etude Pink

I couldn't sleep one night, so I decided to check out some cool eBay auctions; believe it or not, online shopping helps me sleep better haha. I came across this really pretty lipstick, Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk, the packaging really caught my attention because I have came across so many other lipsticks from the Etude My Blooming Lips range and non came in it's fancy costume; so right then I thought, why not bid on it since it's only a few dollars.

Sometimes I bid on eBay auctions, not wanting to actually buy the item; I mean if I do win the auction, I don't ever waste a seller's time, I would be happy to pay straight away, but most of the time I always lose the auction anyway so I don't pay much attention to things that aren't a must have for me... I wasn't planning on winning this auction, but I did... and I was super happy cause I won it for $15.00 NZD + free shipping (pretty sure it's the same price as buy now) LOL *blonde moment*.

Anyway, I received the lipstick and I was heart broken :( I was really looking forward to take some beautiful pictures of Etude Pink (that's the name of the color of the lipstick). The cute little box it came packaged with was squashed, the lipstick had a dent on top and the whole lipstick came apart, fell into three pieces; gawwd you should've see my reaction, my heart was crying.

I then email the seller biz-inside and I told them how disappointed I was (I didn't say it just so they could refund me, I really was disappointed) and they refund me a full amount of what I paid for no questions asked, all I had to do was sent a picture of my damaged product and I also got to keep the lipstick. This is no name and shame by the way, I have also won two other auctions from the same seller and all three items was sent to me in one package, only the Etude lipstick was damaged, all others came prefect conditions and shipping took two weeks to arrive in New Zealand.

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk is described as a lipstick that turns lips into a lovely pink with its smooth gliding and subtly shimmering shine. Smooth texture and outstanding color of creamy gel texture makes clean and vivid lips, relaxed fitting complex and smooth power system makes smooth lips without crack. Moist liquid paste and Hydro-Moist complex makes moist and kissable lips.

Pretty sure this is a Limited Edition version of the original My Blooming Lips-talk and it is only available in one color, Etude Pink.

♥ PACKAGING
The Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk lipstick comes packaged in a baby pink color princess style tube and it comes dressed in its pretty sparkling nets costume with a princess-y E logo placed around the bottom. If you find Etude Pink's costume annoying and/or it keeps getting in your way while you apply the lipstick, her costume is easily removable, it's just a rubber band that goes around the tube.

There is a cute heart and crown designed engraved on the lipstick; it's super cute and girly.

♥ PIGMENTATION
The color of the lipstick looks intense from the tube but when apply on the lips, it goes on sheer. The pigmentation is okay, you can apply a few more layers and build up the colors, but it won't be as intense as it looks from the tube, no matter how many layers of lipsticks you apply!

Etude Pink is a beautiful princess pink that is suitable for everyday wear and it is office friendly. This is perfect for someone who is just wanting a not dramatic pink lips color with lots of shine.

♥ APPLICATION
Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips-talk applies smoothly, I have always exfoliate before each application. The lipstick goes on smoothly and evenly with its creamy gel texture.

This lipstick does transfer to cups and/or food while eating and drinking, but it did not bleed for me. The shine does fade after a while and the color also fades within two hours, leaving no stain behind.

  1. Aw, I'm sorry about the issues you had with the item at first! I've yet to bid for items on ebay before although I've ordered a few things before. I love the color on you, it really works well for you and would probably work nicely on me too. I love their dear my lip glosses so I would love to try a lipstick next! Have you heard or bought from Qoo10? I buy all my asian make up bits from them!
