LUSH Is No Longer Overrated ♥ I'm Officially In-LOVE // LUSH HAUL!

When I first started trying out Lush, I thought the brand and their products were overrated; I guess you won't really get the hype unless if you have tried their bath bombs and all their fun things.

I used to love walking past the Lush store in town back in my uni days and during then I have tried a couple of their soaps, I love the amazing smell, but I just didn't understand why everyone is crazy about Lush. I mean, it's just soap... right?! Well, I used to think it's just soaps until I tried out the Snow Fairy shower gel; right then I kind of start changing my thoughts towards the brand and then later on I tried some of their bath bombs and that is when I have fully converted to a Lush lover!

After trying out Sex Bomb, which I have mentioned it in my last Lush haul here, I have fully changed my mind and attitude towards Lush, I no longer thinks it's overrated and I finally understand where all the hype comes from. Nowadays if I get a chance to pop in the Lush store in town, I would spend a couple of hundreds of dollars as if money rain from the sky (not from my own pocket) haha.

Anyway, I visited Lush last weekend and before my visit, I planned this huge list of things I wanted online, but when I got to the store, a lot of them were out of stock :( so I only got a few things.

►WHOOSH Shower Jelly - $14.90 // 240g
I have always wondered how a shower jelly works?! I have seen them and touched them in-store, they are so cute and wiggly; but I have imagined it as a very messy situation if using it in the shower. Surprisingly not, it is so much fun! It's wiggly and squishy, I find myself giggling and laughing all the time and I look forward to shower time every night.

Whoosh smells like lemon and lime, it's very refreshing. On the instruction on the pot, it says Whoosh can be used all-over on the body and massage your hair with. I have tried that and it feels amazinggggg! Whoosh is made into a hard jelly type, it's not one of those where you grabbed and it falls apart, so it wasn't messy at all. After the shower, my skin would feel very soft and my hair dries so fast! Also, my whole body smells very refreshing and lemony!

LUST Solid Perfume - $10.90 // 12g
I was actually looking for the Lust perfume atomiser, but it was out of stock :( I wasn't planning on getting the solid perfume at all because I have already tried the Lush solid perfume before and it just wasn't working for me. It's one of those that you don't twist to get the product out, instead you have to push the bottom bit to get the perfume out and if you push it too far, you can't really push it down or else you ruin the solid perfume... If that makes sense?!

Anyway, I wasn't going to get this but I feel guilty if I don't buy it especially when the girl has been there trying to understand my alien descriptions of describing the product I was looking for. I wanted the atomiser but I didn't know what it's called nor how to pronounce it, so the whole time I was like I'm looking for the Lust perfume in the stick version, pretty sure the girl who was helping me was thinking... whaaaaat?!

I have been using Lust for the past couple of days, I actually really like it and I don't regret my purchase at all! I love how it started out a strong jasmine smell when I first rubbed it onto my skin, it lasted hours and the smell slowly turns into a subtle flora scent.

LATTE Lip Balm - $12.50 // 10g
I have been obsessing over the latte lip balm for a long time and I have been wanting to get my hands on it since I saw in Lush's online description that this looks good especially on Asian skin tone. Not that I need another lip balm, I have too much already hehehe.

I have only swatched the latte lip balm on my hand and it looks like a frosty light brown color, don't know how well it will look on my lips thou. I'm not one who cares if a lip product or clothing piece don't match hahah people can think what they want :p so it doesn't bother me if I buy it and end up not matching.

YOU SNAP THE WHIP Body Butter - $17.50 // 95g
I was looking for the Stepping Stone Food Scrub, but it was sold out and I was told it only becomes available once in awhile cause it's such a popular product. So I was recommended to try this body butter instead.

So I have tried it and I like it, but the 95g only lasted me through two washes! It works okay, didn't fully scrub away the dead skin on my feet like I wanted it to be and the body butter seems to just keep wasting away. Hmmm don't know how to describe this, I'm gonna try explain this anyway; I place this in my shower bench and I wasn't even touching it or anything, it just kept melting away! Seeing how big it is from the picture above, you would imagine it could last up to a month at least?

Overall, it's still a nice product to try. It smells great and leaves my skin feeling soft.

WICCY MAGIC MUSCLES Massage Bar - $18.50 // 70g
This was my most looking forward to buy item and it was the reason why I decided to drive all the way to town. I could have purchased everything mentioned above on Lush's online store, but I didn't want to pay for shipping LOL even thou it only cost a few bucks and arrives within three days times, I still wanted to feel this massage bar in person; I have heard great things!

I love how it looks like red bean cooked in a big white chocolate bar, almost look edible! A few reviews I have seen online is people talking how it gives a hot and tingly sensation when they rub the massage bar onto their skin. I don't like cinnamon but I thought I must try it cause I work an office job which requires 8 hours of computer time. My back and especially my shoulder gets very sore all the time just by sitting there and no exercise and I thought Wiccy Magic Muscles might help.

I have tried it on my shoulder and it didn't gives me that tingly hot sensation like I have read from other's reviews. I felt like it's a body butter bar instead of a massage bar, the cinnamon smell is very strong and long lasting. Wiccy Magic left my whole body feeling soft after use.

Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar contains all types of natural oils and it does melt so fast as if melting butter in a hot pot lol!

    1. I have tried their seaweed mask, have used it once and end up throwing the whole lot in the bin >.< Such a waste I know! It wasn't even because it's not good, it's an amazing mask! It's just their mask need to be refrigerated and once I put it in the fridge I just totally forgot about it!

  6. Absolutely love everything you have picked up! They are all newbies to me as I usually stick to the bath bombs and bubbles bars etc but I am excited to give them a try in the future! We are undergoing some home developments at the moment so I have no bath for a few months (only showers) so I cannot wait until it's all finished and enjoy a bath with the new Christmas collection haha

  9. Love the stuff you got! Not the typical things I've seen over and over again on other blogs! I'd love to try that shower jelly it looks like a science experiment! And that muscle bar looks great too!! We have one lush store or two in singapore but I can't stand the smell of the shop, it's just way too strong and I rarely go in!
