MAC Kelly Osbourne Lipstick: Strip Poker
As usual, it doesn't matter if I like the lipstick shades or not, as long as it is a Limited Edition collection, I want it! Too bad I was only able to grab Dodgy Girl and I regret not getting Kelly Yum Yum >.< I thought, since I already have Candy Yum Yum and they are both quite similar, I really don't need a another one... Who would have thought I regret it now! Hahah ~
Later on I decided that I need another Kelly Osbourne lipstick in my life as I adore the packaging and I need a shade that is good for everyday wear, then I spot someone selling the MAC Strip Poker lipstick in the Walk in Wardrobe makeup sales group and of course, I immediately contact the seller and claims on it heheh.

PACKAGINGMAC Strip Poker comes packaged in a light purple / lilac tube with Kelly Osbourne's autograph printed in red. I like this, it's not too much nor too boring and I love that the packaging matches Kelly's purple hair!
FORMULA / PIGMENTATIONStrip Poker has a great coverage and it is very pigmented. When first apply it is creamy but sets into a matte and since this is a nude NUDE lipstick shade with a matte finish, if you apply it on dry chapped lips, it's like disaster lol, the lipstick really emphasize dry areas and all these little dry flakes looks so obvious.
APPLICATIONMAC Strip Poker applies smooth and easy.
LONGEVITYSince it looks so pale, looks almost like a concealer on me; I always top with a gloss when wearing this lipstick, and sometimes mix it with another lip product.

What are your favourite MAC nude lipsticks?
I actually really like the purple and red packaging! It's so pretty :) I hardly ever wear nude lipsticks because it makes me look really washed out and kind of sick LOL but the colour looks really good on you!!! It's a shame it emphasises dry patches on the lips :(

Thanks Fifi ^^ yeah ~ the struggle of finding the perfect nude that doesn't make your skin look washed out... I have that problem too, Strip Poker is one of those that make me look pale as zzz but I still can't stay away from nudes hehehh
DeleteOooo...a creamy feeling matte nude! That sounds awesome! The only nude lipstick that I have that is truly a flesh tone nude is from Lime crime, however I don't wear it on its own, I need to add a bit more brown or pink to it! This looks great on you!

DeleteWhat a pretty color on you! I tried my friend's matte lipstick in red, and it was really drying on my lips. But if you say this is creamy, then I'll have to check it out!
ReplyDeleteThey could all be a matte finish, but the formula really depends on the color, I think ~ I had Ruby Woo, it's a matte and that one really drags my lips and it's really drying. I have recently reviewed Mangrove (from Proenza Schouler collection), it's also matte but it's a creamy one :)
