Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick Collection ♡ Glamazon, Lady Bump, Countess & Hot Mamma Review + Swatches

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick Collection

As I sat down this morning to write this review, I cannot believe it's February already! Maybe because I am still on holiday and while everyone is back at work, I get to sleep till whenever I want and do whatever suits my mood. Heheh ~ I wish my holiday mode is forever turned on!

Today I will be reviewing the Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick Collection that I have purchased during the Christmas holidays. When I bought this set, I also purchased the Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection and the Glamorous Bronze Collection (click here and here for the reviews).

Chi Chi Cosmetics has been my number one favourite drugstore brand of all time, I have been using their products since my high school years. I love their products, but sometimes they could be a bit expensive and out of my price range; and this is why I love their holiday makeup sets because I get to save money and also try out new products or shades that I have been wanting to and unable to try because it's too expensive buying as an individual.

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick Collection

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick Collection [NZD $48.00] includes four permanent lipsticks from the Viva La Diva Lipsticks range, these are available to purchase individually from Farmers for NZD $22.99 each.

Here are the shades included in this set:
Glamazon - bright hot pink, matte finish
Lady Bump - bright purple berry, matte finish
Countess - raspberry red, matte finish
Hot Mama - bright orange red, matte finish

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipstick is described as a super saturated, ultra pigmented lipstick that glides on effortlessly leaving a velvety-smooth, long-wearing, hydrated finish. The lipstick is made with ingredients such as beeswax, calendula, vitamin e, evening primrose and jojoba oils, these ingredients will keep your lips moisturised while wearing the product; and at the same time it claims to deliver a dramatic, richly coloured pout.

Glamazon, Lady Bump, Countess and Hot Mamma are all described as a matte finish, but they all has a very creamy texture that glides on effortlessly as Chi Chi claimed. These lipsticks has a one-swipe colour pay-off, the pigmentation is so amazing, these offers a full-coverage easy application and each shade has an average of 6 to 7 hours of wearing time, then it slowly fades and leaves a stain. When the colours fades, it doesn't fade awkwardly in the middle first and/or it doesn't fade all-over leaving the lip lines look. Viva La Diva lipsticks has a flora fragrance scent that is a little too strong when smelling from the tube, but once applied on the lips, the smell is very subtle and it fades within minutes.

Chi Chi Viva La Diva Lipsticks is currently available in 56 shades ranging from the palest nudes to the darkest plum, there are also some pretty wearable everyday shades of nudes and pinks and the lipstick range has 3 formulas: matte, cream, metallic.

Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection ♡ Socialite, Drama Queen, Lady in Red Review

Hi beautifuls, I hope that you all had an amazing New Years Eve and I wish you and your family a bright and joyful, healthy and happiest new years ahead!

I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of my readers for the love you have shown to my beauty blog during 2015, without your support I wouldn't be as motivated as I am now and I hope that in 2016, my blog will bring you more awesome swatches and beauty reviews.

Today I will be reviewing the Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection that I have purchased during the Christmas holiday.

I have already tried these liquid lipsticks in the past, the two shades that I already own is Crazy in Love and Drama Queen (also included in this set). I love that these smells like candy grapes and that the colours are so pigmented. The texture is smooth and the application tip is easy to apply.

The only thing that I dislike about these is the pricing. Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick retails at NZD $22.99 each at Farmers, no complaint though, because drugstore products in New Zealand is retailed at around that price. I just think that, with $22.99 I could spend on something cheaper and better at Sephora, even after currency exchange.

That is why I think the Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection is super worthy. The set includes three full size liquid lipsticks with a value over NZD $68.97, the trio set is only retails at NZD $34.99, that is nearly half price difference from buying them individually.

Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection

Included in the set is three full sized Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Socialite, Drama Queen and Lady in Red.

These liquid lipsticks are described as a glamorous and elegant matte liquid lipstick that is super long lasting without drying out lips or feathering. Chi Chi claims these lip shades boasts a velvety soft and extremely moisturizing creamy formula that applies easily and dries own to a matte finish that lasts all day long. The Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick are Made in Italy and they will provide a high concentration of colour that are sure to leave lips very smooth.

Chi Chi Creamy Matte "Socialite" Liquid Lipstick

Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick "Socialite" is a bright barbie pink shade, it reminds me of a brighter version of MAC Snob. The application of Socialite was streaky and uneven, although the colour pay off was amazing.  The formula and texture is soft and moisturising during wear, after removing with a makeup remover wipe, it does not leave a stain.

Chi Chi Creamy Matte "Drama Queen" Liquid Lipstick

Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick "Drama Queen" is a purple plum shade, comparing to MAC Heroine, they are similar colours, but Drama Queen seem to have a bit more pink added to it. The colour of Drama Queen is very, VERY pigmented; I had the colour on for only 10 minutes and when I removed the lip colour with a makeup remover wipe, it leaves a heavy stain (as seen in 2nd picture below). The application of Drama Queen was amazing, it is so smooth and glides on beautifully, I didn't have to layer over and over for the full coverage effect.

Chi Chi Creamy Matte "Lady in Red" Liquid Lipstick

Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick "Lady in Red" is a bright orange red. I am not usually a red colour person, I mean I love red in clothing, but hardly in makeup related stuff, so I was very surprised when I tried this colour on and instantly fell in love with. Lady in Red is one of those colours that will suit any skin-tones and it is one of those lip shades that can brightens up any makeup looks. Red lip colours are mostly pigmented and I always have trouble with a clean application, but Lady in Red applies not messy, also not perfect, it has a full coverage and it leaves a stain afterwards.

Overall, does these Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick lives up to Chi Chi's claims? Mostly! Chi Chi claims the Creamy Matte liquid lipsticks are long lasting, moisturising during wear, does not dry out lips and does not feathered. While testing these liquid lipsticks, I have given them at least five hours wear each before removing, Socialite became crumbly after half an hour, I don't think these are ideal for layering over too much, but if I didn't do so, Socialite looks so uneven and ugly. I have worn Drama Queen in the past and from memory it worn seven hours, during the new testing, first time I had it on for only 10 minutes as I wanted to see how strong it stains after removing and the second time I tested Drama Queen, after five hours it was still creamy, it did not feathered and no signs on colour fading. Lady in Red performs similar to Drama Queen, it was creamy, moisturising during wear and it did not feathered.

During the time testing the Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipsticks, I have only drink water and I did not eat at all, knowing that these colours would transfer terribly. Chi Chi claims that the Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick dries down to a matte finish, but not completely. The formula is creamy and it does not dry down to a matte finish, it doesn't matter how long you have the lip colours on. The formula is not like a gloss either.

From previous experience with Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick "Crazy In Love", it is one of my absolutely favourite lip product and I wear it quite often to work. Wearing Crazy In Love without eating last for five hours and with eating it last for approximately two hours because most of the product transferred to the food and then I end up eating the liquid lipstick, with my food.

Apart from not drying down to a full matte finish, I love the Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipsticks and I highly recommend this to those who are looking for a moisturising, full pigmentation and long lasting lip product.

Chi Chi Creamy Matte Liquid Lipstick is available in more than ten shades, not sure of the exact number. They are available in a selection of red, pink, purple, orange shades. The colours in this set is available to purchase individually and as mentioned, they are retailed for NZD $22.99 each from Farmers, or you can also buy them directly from the Chi Chi website for AUD $16.95.

Chi Chi Glamorous Makeup Collection Bronzes ♡ First Impression & Swatches

Chi Chi Glamorous Make Up Collection Bronzes

Chi Chi Glamorous Make Up Collection Bronzes caught my eyes when I was strolling though Farmers, I have heard amazing things about these Chi Chi eyeshadow palettes and I have always wanted to try them, but I never buy them because in my opinion NZD $32.00 for a drugstore eyeshadow palette is just too expensive.

Chi Chi Cosmetics has came out with some amazing gift sets for Holiday 2015, I didn't know about these until I saw them in person, therefore I missed out on some of the cool ones.

During my last visit to Farmers, I bought the Chi Chi Liquid Lipstick Set in Brights, Chi Chi Lipstick Set in Red Berry Pink and the Chi Chi Bronze Colour Kit. Today I will be sharing my opinions on the Glamorous Make Up Collection in Bronze.

Chi Chi Glamorous Make Up Collection Bronzes

Chi Chi Glamorous Make Up Collection Bronzes includes a synthetic fibres bronzer kabuki brush, Tropical Island Bronzer and Bronze Eyeshadow Palette. This is a limited edition set, but the products included are available to purchase individually and Chi Chi claims this set valued over AUD $65.00.

As stated by Chi Chi, the bronzes makeup collection allows you to create fashionable makeup looks either for day or night events, whether it's a cocktail party, or a casual shopping, you will have all looks covered. The eyeshadow palette is described as velvety soft, highly pigmented and easily blended to create individual looks; they can be worn sheer or dramatic, wet or dry to reflect your mood or occasion.

Chi Chi Cosmetics is an Australian designed and owned company, but the products included are made in China, which I only realised while typing the above descriptions. Usually I don't ever use any beauty products that are made in China, but I feel like Chi Chi is an exception as I have been using the brand since my high school years and I absolutely adore their products and qualities. Most of the time, Chi Chi products are Australian made.

Chi Chi Glamorous Make Up Collection Bronzes

Actually, I think the jumbo Tropical Island Bronzer and the kabuki brush may be limited edition products as I cannot find any information online except those mentioned in the set descriptions and I have never seen these product in stores as well.

Chi Chi Glamorous Make Up Collection Bronzes

The texture of the Tropical Island Bronzer is so buttery soft and smooth, the packaging is made of plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. The things that scared me the most about bronzers is those that looks gorgeous in pans, but made me look orange in person; I love that the Chi Chi Tropical Island Bronzer applies and blends flawlessly and it delivers a sun-kissed, non-orangey look.

Chi Chi Bronzes Eyeshadow Palette has a collection of bronzes, golds, browns and wine shades, the eyeshadows included are all shimmery and the colour payoff is AMAZING! These are "one swipe full pigmentation" type of eyeshadows, the texture is smooth and soft, they blends beautifully and they are not chalky.

The limited edition set of Chi Chi Glamorous Makeup Collection is available in two shades: Summer Color Kit and Bronze Color Kit, both kits retails for AUD $30.00 / NZD $39.99 each and Chi Chi claims the summer kit valued over AUD $70.00, while the bronze kit valued over AUD $65.00.

I can't find any information on the Tropical Island Bronzer and the Bronzer Kabuki Brush, so I can't do the value calculation as I am unsure of their retail prices. The eyeshadow palette retails for NZD $31.49 and the kit is NZD $39.99, in my opinion is totally worthy. Plus both the bronzer and the eyeshadow is excellent quality, I love that these products' texture is so smooth and pigmented.

Unfortunately, Chi Chi holiday sets are not available to purchase online at Farmers, so you would have to check them out in-stores, it's great because you can compare the sets and buy the ones you really wanted. These holiday sets are also available to purchase from Chi Chi's website, the prices are a little cheaper than buying in New Zealand, but the shipping rate is AUD $15.00 if spent under AUD $75.00, if do your calculation, it's cheaper and better buying from Farmers.
