I am so excited to finally review this beautiful Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in shade Sexer. I also have another one in shade Lovecraft, a pinky nude which I have been wearing on a daily basis, I currently have this love hate relationship with Lovecraft lol ~ so I have decided to give it a bit more time before I review the beauty.

Kat Von D's beauty line is exclusive to Sephora and it is the only place where you can purchase her makeup products without questioning its authenticity. Studded Kiss Lipstick is described as an innovative lipstick that coats lips with bold color and designed to look as rock 'n roll as its wearer. There are 30 shades to choose from in the Studded Kiss range with a few different finishes like: matte, metallic, shimmer etc...

Kat Von D Studded Kiss is formulated without Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates. It claims to last up to 10 hours wear, one-swipe payoff and delivers a velvet touch comfort.

KVD Studded Kiss Lipstick comes packaged in a round tube with studs all over it and a KVD logo design on top of the cap, it really has that rock 'n roll look and feel, don't you think?! I may be TOO girly for that rock 'n roll theme, but I love this packaging! It's very different and unique to all other lipsticks out there (let's not count Asian brands, nothing can beat Asian beauty products packaging lol).

The Studded Kiss packaging is not as sturdy, I often find the cap comes loose in my hand bag and some times it really depends on its mood, if Sexer decides she need to take off her clothes, she will take her cap off and lay nakedly in my handbag lol. I am just so glad that the twisty part on the bottom is not easily twisted, or else the lipstick would already be ruined.

MOVE OVER CANDY YUM YUM! SEXER IS ABOUT TO STEAL YOUR SPOTLIGHT!

Sexer is described as a fluorescent pink, it is a bright / neon pink with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. This lipstick is very pigmented; I like to wear my lipsticks with a couple of swipes, but this one really lives up to it's claim of "one-swipe" payoff, you really don't need to swipe it around too many times as one swipe already give it an opaque coverage.

I have previously mentioned how drying KVD's Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick is when I reviewed it not long ago and now I am starting to think this whole drying thing runs in the Kat Von D lip products family lol! As much as I adore Sexer, it's very drying and it drags my lips when I apply; it's also very drying during the wearing time.

Even thou application was not comfortable nor easy, the pigmentation, the longevity and the shade still really impressed me. The color is just beautiful and the lipstick wore well for eight hours for me, didn't live up to its 10 hours wear claim, but it's good enough!

Sexer is truely an amazing lipstick, the color is so gorgeous and it's very pigmented.

Most of all, when worn on the lips, it gives me that plump lips look which I absolutely love.

I would recommend this even thou it's very dry during wear, you could always apply plenty of lip balm ;)

Let me be honest with you guys, I don't even know what the Rocky Horror Picture Show is all about until I search it up on Google. I grew up watching cute cartoon series like Doraemon (ドラえもん / 小叮当), Sailor Moon, Chibi Maruko Chan (ちびまる子ちゃん / 櫻桃小丸子) and TV shows like Pearl Princess (还珠格格); and also I was not born in New Zealand or an European country, I was not bought up in an oldie life-style environment...  So I guess it is normal that I am not familiar with this kind of film. A lot of times people asks me if I am a fan of such and such old music or if I have seen this super old film and I am just, totally clueless!

MAC has recently released a Rocky Horror Picture Show collection and the lipsticks were sold out with ten minutes! Like how crazy is that?! I seriously did not expect this, I knew there were a lot of people raving about this collection before its release date; but not everyone is a fan right? and I am sure there's a percentage of people in this world have never heard of RHPS before, just like me. So yes I was very surprised it sold out so quick and by the time I have decided to place an order, all were sold out ~ haha so sad! I end up getting all four lipsticks at NZ prices, they were $45 each! *sohh expensive*

Anyway, you may be wondering why was I so excited about this collection even thou I am clueless about the RHPS?! Well... a) It's a Limited Edition collection and I am obsessed with LE products! b) The packaging is so sexy, in a creepy vampy way.

PACKAGING
I am not gonna lie, I wasn't a fan of these packaging when pictures of the collection first starts making its appearance on the internet. I thought it's all fake, like someone has played around and created these pictures on Photoshop; lol I have quite an... imagination... sometimes ;)

MAC RHPS lipsticks comes packaged in a black inside-out tube with red Rocky Horror Picture Show "rocky" font printed in red and a red biting lips on top. There's black and white designs of the characters from the film printed on the inside of the lipstick box, which I loveeeee ~ I thought it's very unique.

MAC RHPS Sin Lipstick is described as a "deep dark blue red" with a Matte finish. I am pretty sure MAC Sin is permanent, I have seen a few bloggers talks about this before this collection release.

MAC RHPS Strange Journey Lipstick is described as a "yellowish brick red" with a Matte finish. It looks like an orange red in person, but it appears as a bright red in swatches.

MAC RHPS Oblivion Lipstick is described as a "vivid blueish-red" with an Amplified finish. I am not familiar with Amplified finish as I don't own any in that formula. I love that the lipstick looks starry from the tube ~ This is my absolute favourite out of all four lipsticks!

MAC RHPS Frank-N-Furter Lipstick is described as a "deep raspberry wine" with a Matte finish.

Today I am reviewing this gorgeous lip crayon I have been sooo obsessed with lately! I got this from one of my latest Memebox, the Pinkaholic Superbox which you can click here to read my initial thoughts.

I am not familiar with the brand The Yeon, nor could I find many information about the brand on Google when I searched online; except for a few Memebox unboxing blog posts. I assume this is a drug-store brand, well-known only in Korea, not anywhere else.

There is not a lot of information on the lip crayon box, a lot of the instruction and formulas are printed in Korean >.< except for a little description which says "Style-Y tells you the makeup story of an attractive woman, who goes after the unique and trendy sense and sophisticated style"... Okay ~ interesting!

The Yeon has described the Style Y Glossy Fit Crayon Lipstick as an automatic type lip crayon of natural color and moisture. It claims to apply smoothly, gives a glossy finish with clear color that makes lips moist and lively and it is formulated with moisturizing ingredients to keep lips moist and shiny.

 PACKAGING 

The Yeon Style Y Glossy Fit Crayon Lipstick comes packaged in a white plastic pencil / crayon style with a twisted end, there's no worrying about wasting products from sharpening the pencil. The crayon comes with a clear plastic cap which hardly fit the crayon itself, I mean it fits but it's very loose, so there's a big chance it will get messy travelling in your handbag. If you own the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils you will know what I mean, the caps for those jumbo eye pencils are very loose and they break so easily.

 SCENT & COLOR 

I think there are four colors available from the Style Y Glossy Fit Crayon range; I had a look on their website and I couldn't find any information due to not being able to understand Korean writings and also their page would not load property so it crash every time I click on the makeup section. I found the four color options through some Google searching, there's a pink, orange, red and purple. I got the color Strawberry 01, it's like the perfect pink.

This crayon lipstick has a light fruity scent, it took me awhile to realize what it is heheh the whole time I was thinking... "it smells like my childhood" then it clicks! It smells exactly like these peaches gummy fruits lollies I used to love so much as a kid! The smell is yummy and it disappear within five minutes.

 APPLICATION 

Style Y Glossy Fit Crayon applies uneven every single time! This is one of the main reasons why I dislike crayon lip products. It also applies patchy and leaves dry flakes in the center of my lips each time, even thou I have exfoliate and apply a lot of lip balms, dry flakes still appears, then I would have to pick them off, *gross* ~ This crayon lipstick also sink into lip lines and it smears around because it is so glossy.

 PIGMENTATION 

Strawberry 01 is quite pigmented, it allows you to wear it sheer or you can add a lot of layers to build up the more pinky color. The downside of adding loads of layers is that since it sink into lip lines, the more layer you add, the more obvious lip lines it appears.

This can be worn alone or you can wear it on top of a lipstick for that extra glossy look.

 LONGEVITY 

Since this crayon lipstick is very glossy and it moves around the lip easily, I was expecting it only able to last for one hour max; I was wrong! This crayon lipstick may be glossy and messy, but the longevity is amazeball! I have applied it while getting reading for work in the morning, had my breakfast one hour later and it pretty much just stays there! Still looking glossy, man I was so impressed! The color only starts fading away before my lunch break, it wore for approximately four hours and that is good enough for a glossy type of lip product, don't you think? ^-^

Oh and I also want to point out that during my four hours of wearing the lip crayon, my lips feels very moisturizing!

 OVERALL REVIEW 

Despite the uneven application and the patchy look, I still very enjoy using the Style Y Glossy Fit Crayon Lipstick. I think the childhood peachy gummy scent must have won me over! I was also very impressed with the longevity of the product, I really did not expect it to last as long as four hours, especially for a glossy type. Strawberry 01 is such a girly pink and I love that the color is not over the top nor too sheer that it doesn't show, the lipstick the quite pigmented and it is very moisturizing.

I would usually tell you guys where you can purchase this product I have reviewed, but this one I am just seriously, clueless! I received this in the Memebox Pinkaholic Superbox and if you purchased that box, lucky you ^^ cause you get to try this lipstick, if you didn't buy that box, you might be able to get this lip crayon from eBay... There is also a Singaporean beauty website that sells this product, but since I haven't had any experience with their shop, I don't want to risk putting a link and have you guys scam!
