Etude House ♥ Princess Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips PRD302 // Review + Swatches

Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips PRD302

I am very excited to review the Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips lipstick today and I will be honest, I am a bit nervous aswell. Reason being, one of my Instagram followers have recently mentioned that the shade PRD302 does not come in the pink tube packaging and of course my first reaction was... "Oh no! Did I pick up a fake one?" & "but it can't be?! I purchased this off RoseRoseShop!". So, I was very curious and nervous, I hunt down the internet for answers and it seems like almost every online stores that stocks Etude House sells the shade PRD302 in the pink packaging; but I have yet come across an actual blog review of the one I am reviewing today.

Anyway, I have been wanting to review this lipstick ever since the first time I tried it, it is a super amazing pigmented lipstick and the color is such a beautiful red. Not to mention it's adorable princess theme packaging. ~ ^^ I hope you are as excited about reading this review as I was typing this.

Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips PRD302

As you see, Etude House never fails to impress with their packaging! There are two version of the Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips lipsticks, one comes in a white tube with silver detailing and another which is the one I currently own, comes housed in a baby pink tube with rose gold detailing.

The lipstick tube fits the girly princess-y theme so well, even the cardboard box looks very elegant featuring a baby pink base, silver / metallic bow and princess detailing. I don't normally keep lipsticks boxes unless it's MAC, but I know I would regret it later if I throw this one out. ~

There's one thing that I especially love about Etude House products is that the company is very thoughtful when they design their packaging. Instead of covering the whole box with Korean characters which most of us non Korean have no clue what it says, they always have one side of the box that is printed in English; with a little description of the product, directions and things to avoid etc...

PRD302 is a beautiful rosy red with gold sparkles. The gold sparkles are not visible when applied, it is only visible when looking from the lipstick bullet.

I think the lipstick name for the shade PRD302 is called "Sip of Wine", but I can't confirm as all the reviews I have come across of this shade are ones with a white tube. Gahhh >.< sooo many confusion!

Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips has a very creamy, smooth and slick texture. Application was easy, with its smooth texture, you could imagine how easily it applied on. I love that it does not dry out my lips, it keeps my lips moisturized during each wear and it is a very hydrating lip product.

The pigmentation of Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips PRD302 is ahh-mazeball! A first swipe of the product, it already gives a very opaque coverage.

Since the formula is smooth, it is easily transferred to cups when drinking or food when eating, after a majority of the product has transferred to whatever your lips touched, it leaves a rosy stains behind. Let's not forget, it also smudge to my front teeth if I wasn't careful! LOL!

PRD302 worn well for five hours on me and the glossiness fade within three hours, after that it just leaves a rosy stain then it slowly fades into the lip lines before it fully fades away.

Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lips lipstick has a subtle rose fragrance, the scent is so light that I didn't notice until I actually went ahead and sniff it from the tube. For people who dislike fragrance lip products, don't worry, I am sure you will like this as it's not a strong scent that will gives you headache.

I have always been more of a pink kind of gal, I own a lot of pink lipstick, some are pretty much same shades, different brands - guilty! I haven't been much of a red lipstick kind of girl until Memebox forced me into this red obsession lol... Yes, I am blaming you Memebox! In almost every single Memebox I have purchased this year, if it contains a lipstick, it's always red!

Anyway, I am always on the hunt for the perfect red lipstick as you all know the perfect red is not that easy to spot. I love this lipstick because the shade looks so gorgeous and glossy on my NC25 skin tone, the packaging goes well with my I wanna be a Princess personality and the full opaque coverage, pigmentation and longevity fits a lazy person like me. Lol ~

Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm ★ Review + Before & After Result

Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm

I was thrilled to receive one of the Tony Moly Egg Pore products in the Memebox x Tony Moly box back in May this year, this is one of those products that I have been wanting for so long, but every time I decide to place an order, I always have second thoughts; >.< so I was really glad to be able to finally try out the egg pore silky smooth balm!

Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm
Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm

There are a total of three steps to complete in the Tony Moly Egg Pore series, each step is use with a different egg product; the three products includes:

► Blackhead Out Oil Gel
clear oil gel to softly cares blackhead
► Tightening Pack
wash off pack to tightens widened pores
► Silky Smooth Balm
pore cover balm to expresses smooth and soft skin

The one I am reviewing today is the Silky Smooth Balm, it is described as a magic balm to make skin smooth and bouncy like the surface of egg whites. Tony Moly claims this pore balm can cover loosed and widened pores, minor wrinkles, scars and other skin blemishes. It also claims to leave your face soft and oil-free and that makeup will last longer than usual.

Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm comes housed in a golden egg shape container, there is a little crack design with shinny material on top of the egg. I heard it is designed like that because the top is removable, so when you have finished the pore balm, you can remove the shinny part and turn the egg into a flower pot.

Hmmm interesting right...?! To be honest, I would rather have them designed the container smaller with more products, instead of one big egg with a size of product that is not even half of the size of the egg. But then, if they have designed this into something else, I probably wouldn't even pay attention to it... After all this product caught my eyes all because of its super kawaii packaging!

food_medamayaki.gif image by wakeupinthemorningfeelinglikepdiddyTEXTURE
The texture of the Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm is in-between a silicone gel balm type and a hard balmy type, it feels quite soft and spongey. When I first opened this pore balm, it looks smooth like pretty white cloud, and after awhile the surface cracked and the whole thing just separate itself. The surface changes does not affect the application and texture, it still feels as silky, soft and moist.

The product looks white in the container, but once smooth it out on your skin, it turns into colorless.

food_medamayaki.gif image by wakeupinthemorningfeelinglikepdiddyAPPLICATION
Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm's texture is very soft, so application is super easy and smooth. When first scoop out the product from the container, it does look crumply, but once smooth it out on the skin, it feels soft and smooth.

food_medamayaki.gif image by wakeupinthemorningfeelinglikepdiddySCENT
There is a supple scent of lemon once apply the silky smooth balm on the skin, the smell disappeared after a minute or so. It doesn't have that strong chemical lemon scent, it smells quite refreshing.

food_medamayaki.gif image by wakeupinthemorningfeelinglikepdiddyAFTER APPLICATION RESULT
The result shown after applying the Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm is pretty impressive, I don't see much of a difference when I apply the pore balm to other areas on my face, but it does shows a huge difference on my nose, my pores became less obvious and makeup goes on smoothly.

When I first tried out this product, I used to apply too much and it felt very greasy, makeup didn't last as long as Tony Moly claims and since I already have a combo / oily skin type, it felt like my makeup was melting off just two hours after I apply it. Then I started to apply just a thin layer of the product to my face, makeup did last a little longer before I had to blot and touch-up with powder, my face was less shinier and foundation applies smoothly, it didn't feel greasy or heavy while wearing a thin layer of the pore balm with foundation and any other product used on the day.

The silky smooth pore balm does not cover pores dramatically for me but it did cover well, below I have a picture of a before and after shot of my nose >.< WARNING: it looks totally ewwwy lol, it doesn't look as bad in person, my camera just made it look worst hahah.

imageMIZON Oh! Shy Glow On Shimmer Light // 8ml
Full size product: 8ml ($14)

Product Description: A radiance-boosting liquid highlight in a natural peach coral shade. Oh! Shy Glow On Shimmer Light easily blend onto face for a naturally glowing and shimmery skin!

How to Use: Use the attached brush to apply a small amount of the highlight over T-zone, C-zone, dark circles and wherever you wish to add more 3D radiance.

Initial Thoughts: I have always been a bit afraid of using liquid highlighter, I would always feel like I didn't apply enough for that nice natural glow, then add a little more, and end up looking like a disco ball... I have been practicing thou and I have recently just released liquid highlighters aren't just for your cheekbone, liquid highlighters can be used under your eyes to brighten your and hide your dark circles. Anyway, I have used the Mizon Oh! Shy Glow On Shimmer Light liquid highlighter for a few times and the shade is a pink-ish pearly color and it has just the right amount of glow.

The highlighter separates its products inside when I haven't touch it for a few days, the last time I checked, it looks watery and it looks as if the highlighter powder has sank to the bottom of the bottle. When I have shake it and tried it again, it works as new.

imageVIVITO Blues Shiny Primer // 30ml
Full size product: 30ml ($34)

Product Description: A shimmering fluid primer perfect for smoothing out uneven skin texture and adding that extra gleaming radiance to the complexion. Coat a thin veil of fine pearls and velvety softness to prep the skin and boost makeup adherence as well.

How to Use: Apply a thin coat of the primer all over the face to prep.

Initial Thoughts: My latest obsession: primers! Vivito Blues Shiny Primer (shiny? sounds scary) comes with a pump for handy and non messy application. ^^ The product comes out in a lavender shade with little invisible sparkles. The texture seems very watery when tested it on my hands, it applies smoothly and not shiny as the name has suggested. Excited to write a full review of this primer once I have had enough time to test it out.

imageREVECEN Moisture Shine Lip Gloss // 7ml
Full size product: 7ml ($16)

Product Description: Enriched with olive oil, this Moisture Shine Lip Gloss in glittering white creates a colorless yet delicately glittering and plump lips while leaving lips super moist and supple without being sticky at all.

How to Use: Apply directly to lips.

Initial Thoughts: I love sticky lip glosses, but I also don't mind lip glosses that aren't sticky... The Revencen Moisture Shine Lip Gloss is just in-between. The one I have received is a clear lip gloss with loads of sparkles, it looks gorgeous in the sun, or area with lots of bright lights and it gives my lips that super plump effect.

imageTONYMOLY Crystal Tear Glitter Eyeliner #01 White // 5ml
Full size product: 5ml ($7)

Product Description: Add extra sparkling glitters just under your eyes (which we call 'tear line' in Korea) to create a sophisticated yet dewy eye makeup. Tonymoly's Crystal Tear Glitter Eyeliner comes in pearl white and contains panthenol complex for moisturizing and conditioning both your lashes and skin.

How to Use: Draw in along your 'tear line' (where your lower eyelashes are to finish off eye makeup.

Initial Thoughts: Not everyone looks good with the glitter tear line / white eyeliner thing :( and I am one of them lol... I don't have the eye shapes for that and whenever I tried the white eyeliner trick, I just look so weird! I envy those who can make it work ~

I haven't tried the Tonymoly Crystal Tear Glitter Eyeliner other than done a few swatches on my hand.

Body-Net Clavi-S Cream
imageBODY-NET Calvi-S Cream // 10g
Full size product: 10g ($8)

Product Description: A body cream made from a blend of delicately sophisticated and enchanting ivory & gold pearls. The cabbage rose water and allantoin formula leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and firm as well.

How to Use: Gently massage the cream over the neck and collarbone area.

Initial Thoughts: I haven't tried this yet, but I am curious to know what it looks like on and how good it looks on the red carpet. ;)

RiRe Gold Clutch Pigment
imageRIRE Gold Clutch Pigment // 2.5g
Full size product: 2.5g ($12)

Product Description: Add instant color sophistication light-catching shimmer to any makeup look by layering RiRe Pigment on top of contrasting eye shadow colors to create a unique multi-dimensional effect, or use it alone for shimmering elegance!

How to Use: Use a shadow brush or your fingers to spread the pigment over your lids. Mix and match Pigment colors together for different combination looks.

Initial Thoughts: RiRe Gold Clutch Pigment has like big chunks of glitter, I haven't tried this on my eyes other than dip my fingers in for a few swatches on my arm. Instead of pigments, it's pretty much just glitters.

All the products included suits the Tinkerbell theme, but the color choices didn't really fit Tinkerbell's personality. I have imagined something green and yellow but all the colors included are very pretty normal shades. Almost all the products includes has either sparkles, shimmers or glitters. My favourite of all the products included is definitely the lip gloss, so glad they have chose a clear one for me ~ ^^ Overall this is a great box and I like everything included.

Did you pick up any of the Princess Edition Memebox?

I also have another Princess box: Cinderella coming soon ;) That one is my favorite and I can't wait to show you guys what came in the Cinderella Princess Edition box!
