ColourPop Lunch Money Super Shock Highlighter ♡ Review + Swatches

ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter Lunch Money

This highlighter has been sitting in my draft for literally six months now, I have recently just started using it again and I almost forgot how beautiful this highlighter is. This is ColourPop Super Shock Highlighter in Lunch Money and I love it as much as its' name.

I believe Lunch Money was one of the first release of ColourPop's Super Shock Highlighter, please correct me if I am wrong. Lunch Money is described as a "soft light gold" and it shows up on my skin as a light beige with frosted sheen. I am used to applying Super Shock Highlighter with my fingers as the colour applies more opaque and I sometimes use with a fan brush to sheer out the pigmentation, I find that Lunch Money has that subtle glow that is wearable when applied either way.

The texture and formula of the Super Shock Highlighter is pretty much the same, I don't find them perform differently on different colours, so I may be repeating myself when I review these products. I love that the texture is soft to touch, it is smooth upon application, it has a full pigmentation that delivers the most beautiful luminous glow, I find that a little goes a long way and a little pot like this last me ages.

As you know, I have oily skin and I get especially oily on my T-zone and my cheek during lunch time (usually 5-6 hours after application), when I check myself in the mirror, Lunch Money isn't as glowing as when I first applied, but it is still showing and I like that it doesn't emphasise my pores.

The above photo was taken while I was getting ready for work at 7.30 am, in this photo I am wearing Lunch Money and it was applied with my fingers. Just to let you guys know that my skin was smoothed out in this photo, just like when I do my lips swatches and the main purpose of me smoothing out my skin is to really just to focus on the products I am showing and what the shades really look like on my skin. I do have some imperfections and my skin is not flawless.

have you tried Lunch Money?
