Sephora Haul ♡ Sephora Collection, Huda Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Peter Thomas Roth + More!

Today I am sharing with you my latest Sephora haul, including a few first impressions of the products that I have already tested.

 PETER THOMAS ROTH MASK FRENZY (NZD $135, 50ML PER JAR), featuring the brand's six bestselling masks including the Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask, the Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Mask, the Cucumber Gel Mask, the Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask, the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask and the 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask.

I am so excited to try these as they are very expensive (full sized masks ranging from NZD $90 - 150, 150ml per jar), and I have always been curious about the brand and wanting to know what is the hype of Peter Thomas Roth?!

 SEPHORA COLLECTION MELTING SHOWER JELLY BODY WASH (NZD $17), described as a refreshing gel that melts into your skin and releases a rich lather for gentle cleansing. I have been using this shower gel in the Beach Vibes scent (yellow bottle) and I am absolutely loving it. I especially like the design of the bottle, I love how you open with just a twist, then press and dispense just the right amount of product.

 SEPHORA COLLECTION FROSTED PARTY FOAMING HAND WASH (NZD $11).

The Christmas bottle design is limited edition, but I believe that Pillow Battle is a permanent scent.

 CAUDALIE BEAUTY ELIXIR (NZD $29, 30ML), described as the ideal priming base between layers of makeup for a long-lasting and smooth finish, it is a toning mist that sets makeup, provides an instant burst of radiance and tightens the appearance of pores. It also claims to be a great aftershave for men.

 SEPHORA COLLECTION KIWI RUBBER MASK (NZD $11), described as a DIY face mask that turns from a powder texture into a rubber like paste when mixed with water. This DIY mask comes in four types, the one I picked up is Kiwi and it claims to remove impurities and mattifies the skin.

 SEPHORA COLLECTION SUPER MATTE MOISTURIZER (NZD $25), ideal for combination to oily skin, it contains natural hyaluronic acid and magnifying powder, known to magnify and regulate excess sebum.

I have oily skin and I have been loving the Original Skin Matte Moisturiser, it really helps with mattifying my skin with and without wearing makeup, but Original is quite expensive, that moisturiser retails at NZD $60 from Mecca. So when I came across the Sephora Super Matte Moisturizer, I knew I had to try it.

Sephora's own brand, Sephora Collection is actually really amazing, their products are all quite affordable and the quality is top notch.

 LANEIGE KISS ME DAY & NIGHT SKINCARE SET (NZD $30), contains a duo of lip products including a Lip Glowy Balm to use during the day for hydration with a subtle tint and a Lip Sleeping Mask to apply before bed.

 FENTRY BEAUTY BROW MVP ULTRA FINE BROW PENCIL & STYLER (NZD $37), described as an ultra-fine, retractable brow pencil with a built-in paddle brush to comb through and shape up brows while blending out the excess color.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I feel like the Fenty Brow MVP is replacing my all-time favourite ColourPop Brow Boss. This is my second time buying this brow pencil and I am currently so obsessed with it, I especially love the paddle brush!

 HUDA BEAUTY #FAUXFILTER FOUNDATION (NZD $74), described as a full-coverage foundation that is packed with ultra-refined pigments that visually erase blemish, smooth skin, blur imperfections. The formula claims to blends seamlessly with just one pump.

I have used this foundation about three times now and I like it, but then I don't?! I have to say that the formula is quite amazing, it's full-coverage and it makes my skin looks flawless from a distance. The foundation wears for more than 12 hours on me, but it fades around my nose area just after seven hours wear.

This foundation has a very strong fragrance, it has a floral scent that lingers around after application and the scent is so strong that it can make you nauseous.

The packaging looks nice in photos, but it actually feels very cheap.

 HUDA BEAUTY NUDE OBSESSIONS EYESHADOW PALETTE MINI (NZD $59), is available in three themes, Light, Medium and Dark. Each palette features nine nude shades in mattes and shimmery textures.

I swatched the colours in-store and absolutely fell in love! The eyeshadows are so pigmented and the texture is creamy and smooth. I bought the palette is Nude Light.

Halloween 2017 ♡ Snow White Inspired Makeup & Costume

Tonight I am sharing with you a makeup look that I have created inspired by Snow White and the costume shown here is what I will be wearing this Halloween, I am so excited! 

Just incase that you are wondering, I bought this Snow White costume from Taobao and in my previous post here I have explained how I shop on Taobao from New Zealand. Unfortunately NZ Post has announced they will no longer send parcels from China after this October, so I am gonna have to find another good mail forwarding company to ship any future purchases here.

There are so many versions of Snow White on the internet, but in my head she has this flawless porcelain like skin. Since I don't own a foundation that is very light in colour with a full coverage, the closest one I can find in my collection is the MAYBELLINE Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation (not shown in photos) and the shade I used is #120 Classic Ivory. I find that this foundation works the best without primer, it has a matte finish and it makes my pores looks invisible, but the foundation is not long-wearing and my face turned oily fairly quickly.

I have mostly natural looking false eyelashes in my collection, but since this is a Halloween inspired makeup look and I wanted something as dramatic as I could get, I end up using the HUDA BEAUTY Classic Lash in #9 Carmen. These falsies are so sexy, they are thick, long and they give you that full volume look. The only thing I dislike is that the eyelash band is very thick and it took me forever to apply them.

To be honest I had no idea how my eye makeup turned into what is shown in these photos. I originally planned something more natural with loads of shimmer because Snow White is more natural on the eyes and bold on the lips.

Firstly I used the TOO FACED Shadow Insurance (not shown in photos) as the eye shadow primer, then I used the shade Ginger Cream from the TOO FACED Gingerbread Cookie Palette all over my eyelid, from the same palette I applied Maple Syrup on the crease and outer corner, then I applied Winter Dream on the lid. To finish off the eye look, I used the KYLIE COSMETICS Eyeliner (not shown in photos) in the shade black to line my upper and lower lash lines. Can you see that I attempted to do a wing and it turned out not that bad.

GUERLAIN Meteorites Pearls is literally THE BEST EVER if you are looking for something that makes your face looks absolutely flawless!

As mentioned, Snow White has flawless skin, natural eye makeup and a bold lip, and let's not forget she has the most gorgeous flushed red cheeks! I used the ETUDE HOUSE Berry Delicious Cream Blush in shade RD301 in this inspired makeup look, the blush is a bright reddish coral in the pan and it's very pigmented, but you can choose to go light-handed for a naturally flushed look or you can build up the shade for a vibrant look. I love this blush and it has been my favourite since my purchase last year.

Last but not least, TOO FACED Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in shade Lady Balls is the perfect red shade use for this inspired makeup look. I love everything from its' colour to its' formula, it dries completely matte, but it's not drying on the lips and it wears for long hours!

Kylie Cosmetics often breaks the internet when they launch new products and sometimes it is impossible to get my hands on a certain product as popular ones sold out within minutes, but I feel like the intensity has died down a little and it is easier to shop from their website now.

During their Kyliner launch, I have purchased two Kylie Lip Kits in Ginger and Kristen, as well as the Kyliner in black. From the day I placed my order till I received my parcel, it only took seven days and that includes weekends.

Kylie Lip Kit in Ginger is described as a warm terracotta brown, I absolutely adore this color and it is one that I have been eyeing up for ever since the shade was released. The kit includes one matte liquid lipstick that has a thin and watery texture that applies smoothly and evenly, the longest I have worn Ginger was seven hours and the color is shown as a dark brown on my NC25 complexion. The kit also includes a matching pencil lip liner.

If you aren't familiar with xoBeauty, it is a beauty brand developed by Youtuber shaaanxo, the company is based in New Zealand and they offer international shipping.

I have been buying from xoBeauty ever since the website launched in 2012 and I love the quality of their brushes. I have also been buying false lashes from xoBeauty and I like that the quality is what you paid for, it's not cheap, nor is it so high-end.

During my recent purchase, I bought the false lash set in The Dramatics, a pair of false lashes in The Romantic and a Shimmer Fan Brush. xoBeauty offers free shipping within New Zealand for purchase over NZD $50.00 and it took a total of only two days for the parcel to arrived.

Huda Beauty is probably one of the most talked about beauty brands on Instagram, almost all the accounts I follow raves about their products and I have been so curious about their liquid lipsticks.

This was my first time buying from Huda Beauty and from the day I placed my order until I received my parcel it only took four days! I bought two pairs of lashes is Samantha and Carmen, and I also bought one liquid lipstick in Venus and one lip pencil in Gossip Gurl.

The products were sent in a bubble wrap padded courier bag, the products are not packaged individually and neither did they arrived damaged. My order was mixed up though as I bought one liquid lipstick and one lip pencil, but they have sent me two liquid lipsticks instead.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte in Venus is described as a deep taupe brown, It has a comfortable and lightweight formula that offers hydration during wear and it claims to be transfer-free with an amazing staying power. Venus feels comfy upon application and the shade is a brown-ish nude that is suitable for daily wear. Huda Beauty liquid matte has a coconut scent, it smells delicious and the only downside is that the formula feels a little drying towards the end of wear.

Last but not least, a Laneige order from GMarket!

Laneige has recently launched its' collaboration with Lucky Chouette, a Korean clothing brand and the Limited Edition collection comes packaged with cute owls designs on the packaging.

I had a look on eBay at first and not many sellers were selling this range yet, plus the ones that were selling the prices were very expensive, so I decided to try GMarket, a Korean version of eBay without the bidding on auctions, since I am not that familiar with GMarket, I can only assume that it is a Korean version of the Chinese Taobao.

My first shopping experience with GMarket was great, apart from the shipping prices, it was hella expensive and it took a total of six days for my parcel to arrive. I bought all three items from two different sellers and it was all a great experience.

I thought that the promotional photos were a little misleading as I thought that the pink eyes of the owl is part of the blush, but when I see the real thing, I realized the pink eyes are just printed on the decal, and the area of the eyes is actually filled with glittery white powder.
