MAC Divine Night Collection ♡ Lipsticks Swatches

Do you ever collect lipsticks and/or any other beauty products just so you can take pretty pictures of them?

Yup, that was me two months ago. I use to spend a lot on high-ends brands lipsticks just so I can group them altogether on a Saturday and take these beautiful pictures of them. I mean, who doesn't love looking at pictures of their brand new lipsticks?! Hopefully it's not just me hehe ~

Up until two months ago, I have talked myself into changing this bad habit of 'wasting money'. I wish I could collect all MAC lipsticks that ever existed, keep them brand new and unused so that I can take them out for pretty pictures when I think they deserve a show-off; but... (there's always a but!), but I am not the multi-millionaire I wish I was!

I am slowly changing my habit of buying too many lipsticks and not using them, leaving them to waste in my draws etc. I have to constantly remind myself: Quality over Quantity!

Instead of collecting these lipsticks, I have decided to stop wasting money; either sell the unwanted ones or use them. So... In the next months or so, there will be a lot of lipsticks posts!

In this post I will be showing swatches of all five MAC Divine Night lipsticks and also talk a little about them. I am not sure if I will be writing up full reviews of these yet, cause at the moment I am not like crazy about this collection; and plus, I have sold two unwanted ones. So, we will see ;)

Please do let me know if you're interested in a full review of one of these lipsticks. ^^ Well, only the ones I still have and I will state the 'status' of these under each picture.

I have used this a couple of times, hence why it looks ugly and ruined :( *gosh, get over it Kay*! Flair for Finery is my favourite lipstick out of all five from the MAC Divine Night collection, it's described as a cool pink nude with lustre finish.

Flair for Finery is quite sheer, but it's one of those that would look good on it's own, or could apply over a lip liner. I still have this and I will forever keep it, so if you want a full review of this, please let me know. :)

♡ MAC You've Got It
Frost finish is one of my least favourite finishes of MAC lipsticks, some people may find it being the prettiest but to me it's just very frustrating. MAC You've Got It lipstick is described as a pink undertone with gold frost and it's a frost finish.

This is one of the unwanted ones, I have already sold this and I will not be reviewing this, ever.

MAC Exclusive Event Lipstick - MAC Divine Night Collection

♡ MAC Exclusive Event
I have already sold this one and I kind of regret it because it's a very gorgeous brown and I realize that just a little too late! See, I always change my mind, if I dislike something now, I may end up liking it or even loving it in the next month or so. I guess it's just a Sagittarius thing, to always change my mind. :p

MAC Exclusive Event is described as a taupe brown with satin finish.

♡ MAC Private Party
Do you see how beautiful a lipstick looks when it's clean and unused?! MAC Private Party is described as a dirty plum with satin finish. I don't plan on selling this as I have developed a slight obsession with purple / dark plum lipsticks.

MAC Prepare for Pleasure Lipstick - MAC Divine Night Collection

♡ MAC Prepare for Pleasure
MAC Prepare for Pleasure is described as a pinky red with cremesheen finish, beautiful finish and to-die-for color! I am in the middle of deciding if I want to sell it or not, not because I don't like this lipstick, I do! I love the vibrant color of MAC Prepare for Pleasure, but I don't think red lipsticks looks good on me, especially not when they make my teeth looks yellow :( So... Keep or Sell?

  4. I love Private Party and Exclusive Event! I NEED a really brown nude because all 'nude' type of shades end up looking very rosy and pink on my lips because mine are so pink naturally.

    1. WOW it's amazing to have naturally pink lips! So even if you just throw on a clear gloss, you'd still look as amazing x
