Does Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Color's packaging and design reminds anyone of some fancy Rome buildings?! I have always wanted to try this lipstick, but due to being NOT-A-FAN of lip crayons, I have never thought of giving this a try until I actually bought one.

This is one of the beauty items I have recently purchased, that I don't actually need or want; I bought it just because I felt the need of spending money... Surprisingly, I turn out to really like this lipstick, not only liking it for the packaging, it's like the whole thing had me falling hard. I love the color and I love how moisturizing and long-lasting this lipstick is, so today I have decided to write a brief review. ^^ ~

♥ BENEFIT HYDRA-SMOOTH LIP COLOR RANGE
Available in three levels of coverage and ten beautiful colors, Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Color is described as a fun and flattering future of lipstick. It is packed with shea mango butter for supple and hydrated lips, it claims to glides on smoothly with a double-slanted tip that is custom designed to define and fill.

♥ TALK FLIRTY
I own the shade Talk Flirty which is described as a orchid pink and it is categorize in the medium coverage group. I have always thought that this lipstick is called "Talk Dirty" LOL! The color of Talk Flirty looks nothing like what it is showing on the Benefit website, it is a lot more mauve pink in person than a dark purple as shown online.

♥ PACKAGING
Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Color comes packaged in a round cardboard box tube and the the design of the lipstick itself reminds me of... Rome's arts and architecture such as The Temple of Saturn. The lipstick is approximately 9 cm tall and the cap is designed in a pleated style transparency look, which overall gave me that really fancy, glam and high quality feel.

♥ APPLICATION
At first I wasn't used to the pointed style of the lipstick, but as I continued to try and work my way around it, I kind of got used to the lipstick and now I have no problem applying it. I love using the pointy part in the middle to line my lips, then fill in with the sides.

Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Color applies smoothly and easily, except that each time while applying it, I have to twist the lipstick up to avoid getting the tube messy.

♥ PIGMENTATION
Talk Flirty is medium coverage and it has amazing pigmentation! It can be layer to build more color.

♥ LONGEVITY 
Benefit Hydra-Smooth Lip Color last approximately four hours for me and it does transfers to cups if I drink water during the day. I had to touch up twice during my eight hours at work and when the lipstick fades, Talk Flirty doesn't leave any stain or fade into lip lines, it's just like... gone.

This is the first time that I ever feel right with a lip crayon and just by looking at the packaging, it makes me really happy and dreamy. Okay this sounds totally silly, I constantly find myself looking at Talk Flirty and smiling to myself for no reason.

♥ OVERALL
- Talk Flirty is beautiful, such a gorgeous mauve pink.
- very hydrating and comfortable to wear.
- pigmentation is amazing.
- love how the lipstick is shaped, can be used as lip liner and lipstick, all in one!
- the packaging is very dreamy and pretty.
