Project Pan 2020 ♡ High-End Lip Products including Charlotte Tilbury, Pat McGrath Labs, MAC, YSL Beauty, FRESH, Kiehl's and Fenty Beauty

Today I am sharing with you eight high-end lip products that I have been loving in the past few months and with my plan to use more and buy less beauty products in 2020, I have decided that I am starting a project pan and I aim to use up all eight lip products by the end of this year.

Of course I can't promise anything, as I have never actually used up a full-sized lipstick before, but I can see myself using up majority of these as they are currently my favourites and I seem to reach for them a lot even when I buy new products.

I probably won't be updating the progress monthly, or even quarterly, but I will update the progress once I see results.

I'm so excited!

From left to right:

CHARLOTTE TILBURY HOT LIPS 2 - AMAZING AMAL, this tiny lipstick came as part of the Charlotte Tilbury Mini Hot Lips Charms Set and Amazing Amal is described as a soft, berry pink. It has a semi-matte formula that wears comfortably throughout the day, the texture is lightweight, it's not very creamy, but it glides on the lips effortlessly. This one doesn't wear all day (approx 12 hours), but I only had to touch-up once and it's mostly after lunch.

PAT MCGRATH LABS LUXETRANCE LIPSTICK - REALNESS, when I first started using Pat McGrath Labs Lipsticks, I thought the brand is overrated and their products are quite average, but when I started to realised how much I love their lipsticks, I was already halfway through the product. Never have I ever thought that I would end up liking the actual lipstick, apart from its packaging. Realness is a rosey-nude and it has a one-swipe opaque pigmentation. The formula is creamy, but it's not heavy, it applies evenly and smoothly, and this one can wear up to 10 hours on me which is quite impressive.

MAC X DISNEY ALADDIN LIPSTICK - PRINCESS INCOGNITO, I was never really a fan of Aladdin, until I watched that movie in 2019 and when MAC launched the Disney Aladdin Collection, I thought the packaging was ugly and the overall collection was boring. Princess Incognito is the only one that caught my attention, it is a medium pink shade and the pigmentation is quite opaque. This is the lip product I reach for when I have bold brows and I needed a more natural lips look. I feel like this one drags a bit during application and I had to touch-up twice in a day.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY HOT LIPS - SECRET SALMA, Secret Salma is a rosy-mauve and I have been loving these types of lip colours in the past few years. This is a matte lipstick, but the formula is not drying at all. This one wear all day on me and it is more of a winter lipstick, when I wear this in the summer days, I can feel that it's a little too heavy, but I love it regardless.

YSL ROUGE VOLUPTE SHINE - NO.45 ROUGE TUXEDO, I think the shade No. 45 Rouge Tuxedo is permanent, but the packaging of this one is limited edition, it is from the Rouge Volupte Shine Hearts & Arrows Collectors Collection. I own a few Rouge Volupte Shine, but I am not a huge fan of this range because of the balmy after-taste, so I bought this for the packaging and I end up absolutely loving it! This is all I have been wearing starting summer 2019. I love that it makes my lips looks so juicy, it wears almost all day on me and when he color fades, it fades into a tint. All YSL Rouge Volupte Shine smells delicious and I was surprised to find that this one doesn't have that after-taste as all my other ones.

FRESH SUGAR LIP TREATMENT - ORCHID, I have been wanting to try these for a very long time and when I finally did, these did not disappoint! Orchid is a vibrant fuchsia and it's very pigmented for a lip balm. The smell of these lip treatments reminds me of a childhood memory, it smells like some candies from the 90s and it is so delicious. The formula is hydrating during wear, it has a smooth texture that applies evenly and effortlessly. Orchid is literally like, one-swipe pigmentation and it wears for approximately two-three hours on me.

KIEHL'S BUTTERSTICK LIP TREATMENT - SIMPLY ROSE, this was one of those impulsive buys, but I end up absolutely loving it! The Kiehl's Butterstick is a lot sheerer compares to the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment and the texture is not as creamy, but it is hydrating and it's one of those lip products that you can swipe and go. I usually wear this when I go to the gym or on days when I go out without makeup.

FENTY BEAUTY GLOSS BOMB UNIVERSAL LIP LUMINIZER - FENTY GLOW, Fenty Glow is a shimmering rose nude and it looks so flattering on, doesn't matter if wearing on its' own or on top of other lip products. The texture is thick, but it's not sticky. My lips feels moisturising during wear and it gives me that pouty juicy lips look. I think that lip gloss is not ideal for New Zealand's weather and I only wear this when I walk into the office or an indoor place that I know I will stay for awhile.

Beauty Empties #16 ♡ Urban Decay, Kylie Skin, Too Faced, Origins, Kiehl's, Maybelline + More

The last beauty empties I posted was nearly three months ago and since then, I have collected another basket full of empty products that I am excited to share with you.

I feel like majority of the times I buy the same products over and over, so in my empties posts, there are a lot of repeated stuff, but this time, I have tried a few new products and hopefully this post doesn't get too boring. Haha ~

URBAN DECAY CHERRY-SCENTED ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY SMELLS SO GOOD! I love it so much that I bought a bunch of back-ups before it's all sold out. This one was limited edition that launched with the Naked Cherry collection.

URBAN DECAY MECCALAND ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY was a Mecca exclusive and I can't describe the smell of this, but it smells kind of fake, like packages... I don't know, hahah.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is my all time favourites.

GLOW RECIPE WATERMELON PINK JUICE MOISTURIZER was okay and to be honest, I think the brand and their products are overhyped. This moisturiser is described as a lightweight, brightening product that boost radiance and glow and I feel like it does the same on my skin as any other moisturiser.

KYLIE SKIN VITAMIN C SERUM is one of the new products that I tried this year and really like. I am just really surprised at how fast this bottle finished, I used it every morning and it lasted about two months. I like that it reduces my redness and that it makes my face looks fresh.

TOO FACED PEACH PERFECT FOUNDATION IS THE BEST FOUNDATION FOR OILY SKIN and I had to write that all in capital letters, so you know how serious I am about it. I have recommended this foundation to people with oily skin and they all end up loving it! I love that it feels lightweight, it wears all day, looks flawless on the skin and it smells like peaches.

FRESH SOY FACE CLEANSER didn't wow me, but it didn't do a bad job either. I bought this to try because a lot of people has recommended, but again, I feel like it does the same on me as any other cleanser.

ORIGINS ORIGINAL SKIN MATTE MOISTURIZER is another product that I highly recommended for people with oily skin. It's so amazing, it keeps my skin matte all day without loosing the glow. I use this every morning with or without makeup.

GLAMGLOW GRAVITYMUD PINK FIRMING TREATMENT only comes in the travel size and this little pot lasted me three uses and it cost $39, which I think is really expensive. The product itself is amazing though, this is a peel-off mask and it makes my skin feeling lifted after every use.

KIEHL'S MANGO LIP BALM smells good and I bought it because it says to be one of the best lip balms on the market, and I love mango.

MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND ERASER CONCEALER was THE THING back in the days and it is still an amazing concealer, but I think the sponge tip is totally gross.

COLOURPOP NO FILTER CONCEALER is one of my favourites products of all times. It's full coverage, but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin.

HEROINE MAKE SPEEDY MASCARA REMOVER does an amazing job at removing waterproof mascaras, even those that are super tough to remove, but for some reason, every time I use this, my lashes falls off randomly, to the point where I feel like my eyes were going bald.

NARS AUDACIOUS MASCARA is probably a good mascara, but it didn't work for me and these brands are not the ones to blame. I have quite short and straight lashes that only a few selected mascaras can lift up those stubborn babies.

REVITALASH ADVANCED, I bought the six months Revitalash exactly year ago and I am throwing them away because I don't think it's safe to use anymore. Although, I have only used two months of it and I think it may have grew my lashes a little, I couldn't be bother applying every single day and I end up just forgetting it.

BENEFIT GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL is one of my most re-purchased brow product of all time and if it wasn't so expensive, I would probably have a bunch of backups already. I was a bit disappointed with this one though, the pencil breaks too often, like I could be lining my brows and it would randomly snap.

KAT VON D TATTOO LINER is the absolute BEST eyeliner I have ever used! I have gone through so many down times this year and last year, I have cried a lot while wearing the Tattoo Liners and it really surprised me that, while all my other makeup have faded, my eyeliners stayed perfectly winged.

COLOURPOP BROW BOSS PENCIL is one of the products that I talked about in almost all of my beauty empties posts. I usually have a bunch of Brow Boss empties, but this past months I have been trying to Fenty Beauty Brow MVP instead. Brow Boss is still my favourite, I love that it gives the most natural looking brows look.

THE GOOD VITAMIN CO. GOOD BIOTIN FOR SKIN HAIR NAILS, I have talked about this in my last beauty empties and so far I have emptied three bottles already. I do still think that the vitamin helped with growing my hair, but for my nails, I am not so sure anymore, even though my nails are growing, but they're breaking at the same time. Now I am thinking, the people at the nail places helps fixed my nails, not the vitamins, ya'know?!

LANCOME ABSOLUE SUBLIME RADIANCE COMPACT FOUNDATION is sooooo old and the shade doesn't even match me anymore, so I am throwing it out.

Sephora NZ Beauty Pass Haul ♡ September 2019 ft. Lanolips, FRESH, Fenty Beauty, DIOR and Sephora Collection

Sephora NZ just had their Beauty Pass Sale and I have recently just reached their Black Member status, which means I get 20% off in this sale. It's so exciting, I finally get to stock up some of my favourites and try out a few new products on my wish list.

Last weekend I bought the LANOLIPS ROSE HAND CREAM INTENSE to try and I love it so much that I went back and bought two more! The texture is thick and sticky upon application, but it absorb into the skin so quickly and it instantly hydrates my dry hands. I am a sucker for rose scented products and the smell of this hand cream is perfect.

I am currently a little bit obsessed with Lanolips and it all started with their Strawberry 101 Ointment. Remember I used to love Carmex lip balms so much?! and now it's all about Lanolips.

I already have a lot of tinted lip balms that I doubt I will ever finish, but when I saw the LANOLIPS ROSE GOLD 101 OINTMENT BALM, I just had to grab it, seeing as I love their strawberry scented one so much.  I haven't try this yet, but judging from my arm swatch above, I know I am going to love it.

FRESH SUGAR TINTED LIP TREATMENT is another impulsive purchase haha, but I have wanted to try this for the longest time! I initially wanted the colour Icon, but they don't have it in store so I got the shade Orchid instead.

I have been wanting to try the FENTY BEAUTY STUNNA LIP PAINT ever since the brand launched this product, almost everyone in the beauty community raves about this liquid lipstick and it just makes me wonder. Matte liquid lipsticks has always been my thing and I have been really obsessed with rosy, mauve, nude shades in recent years, so I picked Uncuffed, even though I probably already have so many other lip products in similar shades, but I am so excited to try this, I heard that it's super long wearing and the texture is rich and creamy.

DIOR LIP GLOW is another lip product that has been on my wish list for the longest time, but it's not something that I can just grab and go because it's soooo expensive. I think Pink Glow is the OG, but I have noticed that the older I get, the more I lean towards darker shades and a non-glossy finish. So I picked the shade Matte Raspberry and it's absolutely gorgeous!

Whenever my bestie and I talk about foundations, she always raves about the FENTY BEAUTY PRO FILT'R SOFT MATTE LONGWEAR FOUNDATION, she and I have quite a similar skin type and we have similar taste in a lot of things. The last time I recommended to her the Too Faced Peach Perfect Foundation, she loved it as much as I do, so this time I thought I would try a foundation that she can't recommend enough of. I shade matched myself online, so fingers crossed this is the correct shade for me.

Last but not least, I stock up on the SEPHORA FOOT MASKS which I have tried last week and absolutely love! Coming from someone that wears high heels daily, these really helps to soften rough areas and smooth my feet. SEPHORA LAVENDER FOOT MASKS provides refreshing, relaxing effect and SEPHORA ALMOND FOOT MASKS targets to nourish dry feet, soften rough areas and make skin supple.
