Beauty Empties #16 ♡ Urban Decay, Kylie Skin, Too Faced, Origins, Kiehl's, Maybelline + More

The last beauty empties I posted was nearly three months ago and since then, I have collected another basket full of empty products that I am excited to share with you.

I feel like majority of the times I buy the same products over and over, so in my empties posts, there are a lot of repeated stuff, but this time, I have tried a few new products and hopefully this post doesn't get too boring. Haha ~

URBAN DECAY CHERRY-SCENTED ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY SMELLS SO GOOD! I love it so much that I bought a bunch of back-ups before it's all sold out. This one was limited edition that launched with the Naked Cherry collection.

URBAN DECAY MECCALAND ALL NIGHTER SETTING SPRAY was a Mecca exclusive and I can't describe the smell of this, but it smells kind of fake, like packages... I don't know, hahah.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is my all time favourites.

GLOW RECIPE WATERMELON PINK JUICE MOISTURIZER was okay and to be honest, I think the brand and their products are overhyped. This moisturiser is described as a lightweight, brightening product that boost radiance and glow and I feel like it does the same on my skin as any other moisturiser.

KYLIE SKIN VITAMIN C SERUM is one of the new products that I tried this year and really like. I am just really surprised at how fast this bottle finished, I used it every morning and it lasted about two months. I like that it reduces my redness and that it makes my face looks fresh.

TOO FACED PEACH PERFECT FOUNDATION IS THE BEST FOUNDATION FOR OILY SKIN and I had to write that all in capital letters, so you know how serious I am about it. I have recommended this foundation to people with oily skin and they all end up loving it! I love that it feels lightweight, it wears all day, looks flawless on the skin and it smells like peaches.

FRESH SOY FACE CLEANSER didn't wow me, but it didn't do a bad job either. I bought this to try because a lot of people has recommended, but again, I feel like it does the same on me as any other cleanser.

ORIGINS ORIGINAL SKIN MATTE MOISTURIZER is another product that I highly recommended for people with oily skin. It's so amazing, it keeps my skin matte all day without loosing the glow. I use this every morning with or without makeup.

GLAMGLOW GRAVITYMUD PINK FIRMING TREATMENT only comes in the travel size and this little pot lasted me three uses and it cost $39, which I think is really expensive. The product itself is amazing though, this is a peel-off mask and it makes my skin feeling lifted after every use.

KIEHL'S MANGO LIP BALM smells good and I bought it because it says to be one of the best lip balms on the market, and I love mango.

MAYBELLINE INSTANT AGE REWIND ERASER CONCEALER was THE THING back in the days and it is still an amazing concealer, but I think the sponge tip is totally gross.

COLOURPOP NO FILTER CONCEALER is one of my favourites products of all times. It's full coverage, but it doesn't feel heavy on the skin.

HEROINE MAKE SPEEDY MASCARA REMOVER does an amazing job at removing waterproof mascaras, even those that are super tough to remove, but for some reason, every time I use this, my lashes falls off randomly, to the point where I feel like my eyes were going bald.

NARS AUDACIOUS MASCARA is probably a good mascara, but it didn't work for me and these brands are not the ones to blame. I have quite short and straight lashes that only a few selected mascaras can lift up those stubborn babies.

REVITALASH ADVANCED, I bought the six months Revitalash exactly year ago and I am throwing them away because I don't think it's safe to use anymore. Although, I have only used two months of it and I think it may have grew my lashes a little, I couldn't be bother applying every single day and I end up just forgetting it.

BENEFIT GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL is one of my most re-purchased brow product of all time and if it wasn't so expensive, I would probably have a bunch of backups already. I was a bit disappointed with this one though, the pencil breaks too often, like I could be lining my brows and it would randomly snap.

KAT VON D TATTOO LINER is the absolute BEST eyeliner I have ever used! I have gone through so many down times this year and last year, I have cried a lot while wearing the Tattoo Liners and it really surprised me that, while all my other makeup have faded, my eyeliners stayed perfectly winged.

COLOURPOP BROW BOSS PENCIL is one of the products that I talked about in almost all of my beauty empties posts. I usually have a bunch of Brow Boss empties, but this past months I have been trying to Fenty Beauty Brow MVP instead. Brow Boss is still my favourite, I love that it gives the most natural looking brows look.

THE GOOD VITAMIN CO. GOOD BIOTIN FOR SKIN HAIR NAILS, I have talked about this in my last beauty empties and so far I have emptied three bottles already. I do still think that the vitamin helped with growing my hair, but for my nails, I am not so sure anymore, even though my nails are growing, but they're breaking at the same time. Now I am thinking, the people at the nail places helps fixed my nails, not the vitamins, ya'know?!

LANCOME ABSOLUE SUBLIME RADIANCE COMPACT FOUNDATION is sooooo old and the shade doesn't even match me anymore, so I am throwing it out.

2018 Beauty Favourites ♡ Too Faced, ColourPop, Kat Von D, Urban Decay, NARS, Canmake, Kylie Cosmetics, Jo Malone London + more

Ever since Too Faced released their Peaches & Cream Matte Makeup Collection, I have been very obsessed with the line. I have tried almost everything from this line and my two absolute favourites has to be the TOO FACED Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer (NZD$51.00 - Mecca) and the TOO FACED Peach Perfect Foundation | Vanilla (NZD$57.00 - Mecca).

The primer was mentioned in my latest beauty empties and I have since purchased a new one because it's THAT amazing! I love that it blur flaws and smooth complexion, it feels lightweight and it wears comfortably throughout the day, it keeps my makeup in place and it smells delicious.

The foundation is literally the BEST summer foundation! It has a thick texture, but once blends out, it feels lightweight on the skin. It creates a flawless matte look without looking cakey, it wears for long hours even on a very hot day and it's good at oil controlling.

COLOURPOP No Filter Concealer | Light 14 (USD$6.00 - ColourPop) has been a long time favourite, although I don't use a lot of concealers these days as I am more into the no makeup makeup look, there are days that I still feel like glamming up with a full coverage look and this is the only concealer I reach for and/or re-purchase every single time. I love that it's full coverage, but it feels lightweight and it's not cakey nor does it crease under-eye.

COLOURPOP No Filter Setting Powder | Translucent (USD$9.00 - ColourPop) has been my go-to setting powder for the past three months, I use it with a powder brush and I just wish that it comes with a puff. I use it as an all-over setting powder, I use it for work and I use it for gym, and I just love that it makes my skin looks so soft and flawless. Although I do have oily skin, sometimes I get dry patches around my chin area and surprisingly this powder doesn't clings to dry patches.

I feel like I don't have to explain further with this brow pencil as it has been mentioned plenty of times in my beauty empties post. I love it, I am obsessed with it and I literally go into panic-mode when it's running out. COLOURPOP Brow Boss Pencil | Dark Brown (USD$5.00 - ColourPop) is the best, best, BEST brow pencil if you are looking for that natural brows looks. Ever since the first time I used this product, I have been getting a lot of compliments on how natural my brows look, its amazing and it wears all day.

There are two brow gels that I have been loving during the past few months, one is from Chanel and another being the URBAN DECAY Brow Tamer Gel | Neutral Brown (NZD$36.00 - Mecca). I like both equally, but because I haven't had Chanel for a long time, I decided to put Urban Decay in my 2018 beauty favourites instead. This brow gel has a water-resistant formula, the brush is not too big, nor too small and it's able to brush on precisely. It's not crunchy, it's lightweight, the formula dries down quickly and it wears comfortably all day.

TOO FACED Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette (NZD$78.00 - Mecca) is probably the only eyeshadow palettes that I have hit pan on. I have only started using eyeshadows on a daily basis from last year and Sweet Peach is the one I reach for all the time. My favourite thing about it is definitely the peach scent and I also like that the eyeshadows are so soft and blends out smoothly.

COLOURPOP It's A Princess Thing Eyeshadow Palette (USD$20.00 - ColourPop) is also another eyeshadow palette that I have been reaching for a lot during 2018. The top rows are all base and crease colors, the texture is smooth, pigmented and blends nicely. My favourite has to be the middle row and I love using them as eyeshadow toppers, the colors are all glittery and pigmented, but they are not like crazy blings, which is great for daily wears.

If you are a glitter lover, you will adore the STILA Magnificent Metals Liquid Eye Shadow | Rose Gold Retro (NZD$38.00 - Mecca)! I love that the eyeshadow is easy to blend with a brush and the glitter stays on all day. It's easy to apply and the color is beautiful and vibrant.

KISS ME Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara is the BEST and the ONLY MASCARA that works on my short, downward "Asian" eyelashes! Although I haven't worn mascaras in a long time, this is the ONLY ONE I reach for when I do and I am forever recommending this because it can hold my eyelashes up for as long as I have it on. I have worn this mascara for 18 hours or more and my lashes stays curled, it doesn't smudged and it doesn't give you the clumpy look.

I have heard amazing things about the KAT VON D Tattoo Liner | Trooper (NZD$28.00 - Sephora) and let me tell you, it is TRULY AMAZING! I have worn this eyeliner on a bad day, I cried all the way home and by the time I get home my eyeliner stayed looking perfect as if I have just applied it, mind you, prior to the bawling out on the bus, I have already worn this eyeliner for 10 hours! Talk about IMPRESSIVE! I love that this eyeliner is long-wearing, it's water-proof, sweat-proof, it's very black and the tip is soft, yet applies precisely.

NARS Orgasm Infatuation Cheek Palette is a limited edition palette from the 2018 Holiday Collection. I didn't want to share with you a product that is no longer to purchase, but I can't go without sharing with you my favourite highlighter of the year! This palette includes a bronzer (Laguna), a blush (Orgasm) and a highlighter (Orgasm), I initially bought it for reviews and first impressions, but who would have though that the highlighter hits pan before I could prepared for the post. The highlighter is so beautiful, it gives a subtle glow that last all day.

I have used and loved a couple of Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks in the past and this time I decided to try a matte version, which is the CANMAKE Mat Fleur Cheeks | 02 Matte Girly Rose. I love that this blush is so subtle, it gives you that natural cheeks look and it wears all day. I can use it on a daily work day or I can use it for gym for that natural flush.

Kylie Cosmetics has to be my favourite brand for lips products in 2018. Ever since I purchased the KYLIE COSMETICS Velvet Liquid Lipstick | Goals (USD$16.00 - Kylie Cosmetics), I have been using this shade non-stop, although I do switch up my lip colors from day to day, I find that Kylie Cosmetics Goals is the shade I reach for the most. I love that the texture is soft, it dries to a velvet finish, it wears comfortably all day, it doesn't smudge nor feather, it only transfers a little to cups and the color is absolutely beautiful! Goals is described as a soft strawberry, it's not too vibrant, it can be worn in day times or party nights, the staying power is really good as well, I rarely had to touch-up, except after eating a proper meal.

BIORE Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser (NZD$13.99 - Farmers) has become a favourite since the first time I tried it. The cleanser feels so refreshing during and after wash, it has a cooling feel when I spread out the product on my face and it doesn't give me that squeaky clean feeling afterwards.

I kind of fell in love with Jo Malone in 2018 and a lot of new perfumes that I have purchased during this year are from the brand. My overall favourite scent has to be JO MALONE Tropical Cherimoya Cologne 100ml (NZD$236.00 - Smith & Caughey's), it's fruity, it's subtle and it's a perfect summer scent. During the winter times, I have been loving the NARCISO RODRIGUEZ For Her Fleur Musc EDP 50ml (NZD$173.00 - Farmers), I love the sweet, roses smell and I find that it's a very feminine and girly scent.

Most Used & Favourites Beauty Products ♡ Summer 2018

Monthly Favourites was a thing back in when I first started my blog and I have tired to follow the trend and failed most of the time because the products I use is pretty much the same every month. Although I do try out new products from time to time, it's only for a short period and then I am back with the products that I am most familiar with.

I thought maybe I should change things up a little bit and write my favourites and most used beauty products seasonally. Obviously, you won't see me in a bright coral lipstick in winter, so, maybe the idea of a seasonally favourites would make things interesting.

Starting today, March 2018, I am sharing with you my first summer favourites and most used product.

Summer Favourites 2018

Remember this haul where I shared with you my purchase of the MAC Prep + Prime Fix + in Lavender, Rose and Coconut? Well, I have been using the Lavender scent as a facial mist and I like that it's refreshing and moisturising, I also like the Sized to Go, as it's handy to carry around.

I have read an article where someone has mentioned that all Micellar Water are pretty much the same as they have the same ingredients, just different branding and different packaging. It may be true, but this claim doesn't make me stop buying Micellar Water from different brands, as you know, most of the time I buy beauty products based on its' packaging. I have been using the Etude House Monster Micellar Cleansing Water and I am absolutely in love with the coconut scent. I use about 7 or 8 makeup pads to remove a full face of makeup with this product and I always love the result, my face feels and looks very clean, it doesn't stint my eyes and it doesn't leave my face with that super squeaky clean feeling.

UD's All Nighter setting spray used to be my all time favourite, I take it every where with me and I buy several backups just incase I run out, but lately I have been using the Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray and I think this may be my new favourite. I find that it does a better job at keeping my makeup in place for longer hours.

Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial Spray and the MAC Prep + Prime Lavender Fix + mentioned above pretty much does the same job, except that I bring the MAC Fix + with me everywhere I go and Mario Badescu is like a stay-at-home product.

If I remember it correctly, this is my third bottle of The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution, ever since I bought my first bottle in Germany back in 2016, I have been so obsessed with this product and it has definitely made it into my holy grail list. I use this product as the first step of my makeup routine and I like that my face is a lot smoother nowadays, pimples don't randomly pop up unless it's that time of the month and it keeps my makeup stays in place throughout the day.

Summer Favourites 2018

My most used concealers this summer is the Too Faced Born This Way Concealer, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser and the ColourPop No Filter Concealer. My favourite out of all three is definitely the TF Born This Way, I love that it's buildable, but it doesn't feel heavy, it has a great coverage and it doesn't crease during wear, also it smells like coconut and that is a big win win for me. ColourPop No Filter is also great and affordable, it has a thick and creamy texture that applies smoothly, but I dislike that it dries so fast and it doesn't give you time to blend out, so the only way to have a perfect application is to apply an area one by one, instead of covering your whole face in concealer then blend out. Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser is just an okay product to me and it's one of those that I don't really understand the hype. The thing that annoys me the most is having to twist the tube for a long time for the concealer to come out and it's probably my fault for choosing the wrong shade, I have the 'brightener' and it makes my undereye looks ghostly.

Urban Decay All Night Liquid Foundation is literally the best foundation for those with oily skin that loves a full coverage look. I have worn this foundation for more than 12 hours, apart from my nose area where my glasses often slides down and removes whatever makeup I have on the day, other parts of my face stays flawless. Although the formula is thick and creamy, it doesn't feel heavy during wear. I am in the shade #2.5 and I have also tried #3.5 which is a bit too dark on me (click here to see swatches).

CandyDoll BB Cream has been mentioned in my Best of 2014 Foundations & Concealers and 2015 Beauty Favourites. I have tried a lot of new products during 2016 and 2017 and I don't remember reaching for this BB Cream, but I have fallen in love with it again this summer. It has a liquidy texture that feels lightweight with a good coverage, it gives you that naturally dewy look and it wears for a good amount of time.

My most used primer this summer is the Mecca Multi-Purpose Plumping Balm and the Wet n Wild Coverall Primer. They are both great at keeping my makeup in face throughout the day and I love both equally. Mecca has a thicker texture while Wet n Wild is more runny, on days that I wear absolutely no makeup, just primers, I would go for Wet n Wild as it makes my face feels like a baby bum, it feels so smooth and mattifying at the same time.

Summer Favourites 2018

I bought the Guerlain Meteorites Pearls in 2014, it has been mentioned in my 2015 and my 2016 Beauty Favourites, it's definitely one of my all time favourite beauty products and as you can see in the photo above, it's been more than three years since the purchase and there is still a lot of product left. I have the shade in 'Clair' and I use it as an overall powder. I love that it's not cakey and it gives my face my absolute flawless look.

As you know I am a makeup collector and I rarely hit pan on products, especially not bronzers nor highlighters, but surprise surprise, I have hit pan on the highlighter of the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow and the Too Cool For School Art Class Bronzer. CT Film Star Bronze and Glow is another holy grail that I have talked about so much on my blog and used in almost every single makeup looks posted on here and the TCFS Bronzer is actually a newly purchased product that I was testing and preparing to review, but I can't believe that I hit pan this fast. TCFS Bronzer is literally life for those with a light skin-tone, it gives you just enough shading and you can never go over the top with this product.

NARS Double Take Overexposed Glow Highlighter was purchased in November last year and it has already become my most reached for highlighter this summer. This highlighter has lips shaped embossed on the actual product when it's brand new, which you can see it here, but as you can see I have obviously used it a lot and it just looks ugly now. I love that the highlighter gives a soft glow that looks natural and it's wearable on any occasion.

Summer Favourites 2018

I have been switching between the 3 Concept Eyes Love 3CE Cheek Maker #Orangish and NARS Dolce Vita this summer and my most reached for is definitely NARS. This is a mini sized from the Dolce Vita + Audrey Love Triangle Set. The colour seems more suitable for the winter season when looking from the pan, but when applied with a brush, it transform into a sheer rosy shade.

Summer Favourites 2018
Summer Favourites 2018

Can you believe it?! Two years ago I don't fuss over my brows and a year ago I only wear eyeshadows in makeup looks and now it's full on eyebrows and eyeshadows on a daily basis.

I started wearing eyeshadows to work towards the end of 2017 and my most reached for is definitely the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. In my daily routine, I always use the shade 'Peaches n Cream' as the base and the shades 'Bellini', 'Luscious' or 'Candied Peach' all over my lids depending on the clothes and lip colours I am paring with on the day.

I also use ColourPop Super Shock Shadow in the shades 'Posey' or 'Tea Party' on days that I feel like I need some sparkles.

As for brows, at the moment I am obsessed with the ColourPop Precision Brow Pencil, I love that although it has a creamy texture, it doesn't break easily, it glides on precisely, smoothly and it stays on all day. I have also been using the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil, but I seem to always have this love hate thing with it. I love its slanted shaped pencil as I can draw on the most perfect brows without even trying, but I dislike that it's a little bit too waxy and sometimes it doesn't fill in the brows evenly which really frustrates me when I am running late.

Summer Favourites 2018
Summer Favourites 2018

YSL Glossy Stain is one of my favourites throughout all seasons, I love that it melts into my lips upon application and it leaves a cooling feel after application. I have the shade is 07 Corail Aquatique, it's a light orangey coral shade that is perfect the summer. (click here to see my lip swatches)

Wearing a lip gloss in New Zealand depends on the weather nor the season, and the weather could change from good to bad several times in one day, so the chances of wearing a lip gloss is not that often, but I keep buying anyway, because I love lip products.

I have been switching between the Guerlain Gloss d'Enfer Maxi Shine Lipgloss and the Too Faced Lip Injection during the summer, Guerlain Maxi Shine Gloss is another one of my favourites, I have the shade in #901 L'Oiseau de Feu and it used to be a clear gloss with golden sparkles, but as you can see, I have been wearing it with other lip colours that it has now turned into a pinky shade.

Guerlain KissKiss Roselip in Pink Me Up is a newly purchased item that I have been reaching for a lot lately, I like that it gives a sheer wash of colour, but I dislike that I have to re-apply every hour. It's pretty much a tinted lip balm, but it's not as good as the Innisfree Glow Tint.

The old name for Innisfree Glow Tint is called Innisfree Eco Flower Tint Balm, I have all five shades from the range, but the shade that I love the most and have almost emptied is 'Camellia'. This is also a tinted lip balm, but it's 100 x better than the Guerlain KissKiss Roselip. It's a lot more pigmented, the colours doesn't fade throughout meals and there's no need to re-apply hourly as the colour stays on for forevers.

MAC Hug Me Lipstick came as part of the MAC Look In A Box Natural Flare Collection in 2017, the lipstick is part of the permanent range, so it can be purchased individually. I have been reaching for this a lot through the summer, it's a stable in my purse, hence why it looks so wobbly right now as it has melted and fixed in the fridge too many times. I get compliments every time I wear this and that is probably why I am currently obsessed with it.

Summer Favourites 2018

Lastly, I have been using MAC Shadescents in Candy Yum Yum almost every day during the summer, while it is described as a flirty scent, the bottle is bright and girly and the overall scent and packaging screams summer, my main purpose is to empty this bottle so that I can buy a new perfume that I have been eyeing up for ages. MAC Shadescents aren't bad but I am just not really feeling it.

MECCA Beauty Haul ♡ + Giveaway!

Mecca Beauty Haul November 2017

Ever since Mecca opened their Auckland CBD store in August, a walk to the store after work has become a regular thing for me. Even on days that I am so broke, I have so many bills to pay, a short visit to the Mecca store literally cheers up my day.

Before Mecca opens their store in Auckland CBD I have been shopping online on their website, I have always been a huge fan of Mecca because they carry brands that are very hard to get my hands on in New Zealand, also their prices are very reasonable.

Today I am sharing with you the makeup that I have recently purchased from Mecca, also to celebrate reaching level 3 of the Mecca Beauty Loop, I will be giving away some goodies too.

Mecca Max Eyes To The Max Mega Party Palette
Mecca Max Eyes To The Max Mega Party Palette

Mecca Max Eyes To The Max Mega Party Palette $55  features 35 eyeshadows in bronzy, neutral and burgundy shades. There are two finishes, shimmer and matte, and the texture is so soft and buttery. When I swatched the eyeshadows in store, I was blown away by how pigmented these are. The palette is quite big, but it's very thin and it doesn't come with a mirror. It's overall lightweight and easy to store.

Hourglass Ambient Diffused Light Palette

The Hourglass Ambient Diffused Light Palette was purchased from this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this palette is not sold at Mecca and I believe it's no longer available to purchase, but I wanted to feature it in this post anyway, because I don't think I have shown it off on my blog.

The Ambient Diffused Light Palette includes a powder in shade Diffused Light, a blush in Diffused Heat and a bronzer in Diffused Bronze Light; all three shades can be purchased individually.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette Vol.3

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette Vol.3 $127  features three best-selling and three new exclusive powders, it comes packaged in a rose gold compact that is so on-trend right now. I bought this palette as soon as it launched at Mecca!

Honestly, my arm swatches photo does not do it justice and if you can, you should definitely check these out in store and swatch these shades in person.

NARS Double Take Overexposed Glow Highlighter

NARS Double Take Overexposed Glow Highlighter $67  is part of the NARS x Man Ray holiday collection. I have been using this highlighter for a week now and at first I wasn't sure if this was an impressive or disappointing product. When I first swatched this highlighter on my hand, I was impressed with the pigmentation and I loved the medium gold with a bit of metallic-ish effect, but when I applied this on my cheek, the highlighter rarely shows up, it's not pigmented and it doesn't have that metallic effect as my initial swatch. Double Take shows on my cheek as more of a soft glow and I only started to really enjoy this highlighter towards the end of the week.

NARS x Man Ray Fetishized Blush

NARS x Man Ray Fetishized Blush $47  is described as a pink grapefruit shade. I actually picked this up by mistake thinking that I have picked up the highlighter as shown above. When I opened this at home I was shocked at how I have picked up a bright orange blush, this is not something that I would usually buy because I am very heavy-handed when it comes to blushes and I would usually avoid blushes with great pigmentation.

NARS x Man Ray Anita Audacious Lipstick

NARS x Man Ray Anita Audacious Lipstick $54  is NARS best-selling rose shade lipstick and this time it comes all packaged in gold. I don't have much memories of NARS lipsticks and I may or may not have tried the Audacious line prior to this purchase. I love the pigmentation of this, it is literally one swipe full coverage.

NARS x Man Ray Holiday Collection
NARS x Man Ray Holiday Collection
NARS Love Triangle Blush & Lipstick Set
NARS Love Triangle Blush & Lipstick Set

NARS Love Triangle $38  is also part of the NARS x Man Ray holiday collection, there are a total of five Love Triangle sets and each set features a blush and a lipstick. The items included are all mini sized and to me these are perfect. I bought the sets in Dolce Vita and Audrey, Deep Throat and Barbara and Impassioned and Anna.

I have seen a lot of reviews on the Love Triangle where people have complaint about the size of the products included, many says these are very small and it's not worth the price etc...

I am not usually one to fuss about the sizes and prices of a product, if I like it I buy it, if I don't like it, I avoid it. NARS Blush - full sized is 4.8g - $47 and NARS Audacious Lipstick - full sized is 3.4g - $54. NARS Love Triangle - blush mini sized is 2.5g and lipstick mini sized is 2.3g - the set is $38. Overall the set is great if you are new to NARS or you simply have too much makeup and sizes don't bother you, to me $38 for two NARS products is such a good price.

Too Faced Unicorn Survival Kit

Too Faced Unicorn Survival Kit $41  includes a La Creme lipstick, a Melted Latex Lipstick, a highlighter and a super cute makeup clutch. All three makeup products are mini-sized and they're all called Unicorn Tears. This is the only holiday collection item that I was most excited about! I picked up one set for myself and another for you. ♥︎

I have been wanting to try the Melted Latex Lipstick in Unicorn Tears for a long time, but it is sold out every time I visit Mecca, so it made me even more curious about this product. It is described as a long-wearing liquid lipstick with high shine and the colour is described as an opalescent shimmer. This is pretty much just a clear gloss with shimmer.

Too Faced Unicorn Survival Kit
Too Faced Unicorn Survival Kit
Too Faced Bulletproof Brows

Too Faced Bulletproof Brows $47  is probably the worst brow product I have ever tried... I tested the product in store, I liked the texture and I thought the pigmentation was okay, it's not too pigmented nor to sheer. I bought it home and tried to do my brows one morning when I got so frustrated because it doesn't apply evenly, at the end I just gave up and went to work with bald patches in my brows haha. I don't even know how to describe it?! But whenever I apply this brow product, it disappear quickly into my skin, it dries flaky and applies uneven.

Keep in mind that I have tried this with other brow powders, firstly outline with the TF Bulletproof Brows, then fill in, lastly fill in bald area with other brow products and it still looks uneven and I just don't understand?!

Mecca Lip De-Luscious & Mecca Enlightened Lit From Within Illuminating Balm

Lastly, the above and below items are products I have received in my recent Beauty Loop boxes.

Mecca Lip De-Luscious $30 is like a tinted lip balm.

Mecca Enlightened Lit From Within Illuminating Balm $35 is a cream highlighter.

Mecca Multi-Purpose Plumping Balm $47 can be used as a day moisturiser, a primer or as a radiance-boosting mask. I have used this once as a primer and I like the cooling feel it delivers upon application. I dislike that it's very shimmery, but I like the subtle glow of my skin after application. As for the longevity, I have oily skin and I feel like this may work better for those with dry to combination skin.
