MAC The Matte Lip Collection ♥ Swatches

I have this beauty habit and I am not sure if I would class it as a bad a habit or just normal; but I sure know it is damn annoying when I want to try out that new lipstick I just purchased and I can't, because "it hasn't been swatched yet", *roll eyes*.

So I finally had some time off this weekend and I made sure to swatch and photograph as many lipsticks as I can. Arghh, I have been dying to try out Pander Me and Nouvelle Vogue from the MAC The Matte Lips Collection!

If you have been a long time reader of my beauty blog, by now you should have noticed I am a huge, huge matte fan; especially when it comes to matte lipsticks, I just go absolutely crazy over them. So I was very excited when MAC launched an all matte products collection.

The stunning MAC The Matte Lip Collection was launched in October 2014 and it features an all matte formulas of lipsticks, lip pencils and blushes. When I hear about this collection, I have only noticed the lipsticks and it is the only products I own from this collection.

There are eight lipsticks available from this range, all shades are Limited Edition, except one that is a permanent color. I end up with six of the lipsticks from this collection, because I already own Heroine (it is the only permanent shade in The Matte Lip collection) and since I don't wear a lot of red lipsticks, I didn't think Damn Glamorous was a must-have in my makeup stash.

My absolutely favourite from this collection is definitely MAC Pander Me, it is described as a soft peachy mocha, and I also adore MAC Nouvelle Vogue, it is described as a soft blue pink. Nouvelle Vogue reminds me of a darker and pinker version of MAC Snob, maybe that is why Nouvelle Vogue and I were love at first sight.

MAC Styled In Sepia is described as a dirty cement beige, I first fell in love with it when I saw some beautiful lip swatches online, I remember it looked something like a light beige color and I wasn't expecting any dark brown! Hahah I admit I was a bit disappointed at first when I saw it in person, Styled In Sepia looks more like a dark warm brown with a hint of grey, it is one of those lip colors like Lime Crime Cashmere, you either suit it, or you don't.

Last but not least, MAC Living Legend, MAC La Vie En Rouge (*face palm* forgot the 'Vie' in-between La and En in my arm swatch picture) and MAC Fashion Revival are three of the shades that I know I want to have, but they are not a 'need' as I hardly wear darker lip shades. I occasionally owned a few darker lipstick colors here and there, but do I REALLY NEED these three? The answer is YES! Obviously! Okay, here is a confession, I bought these three all based on their cute and unique names.
