Last month I wrote down a long list of Holiday Makeup Sets that I thought I "must" have, but I ended up only buying a few of Too Faced's gift sets; which I am actually quite proud of, for being able to control my spending and not buy things that I don't need.

Of course, if I really wanted to save money, I could have avoid buying the Too Faced Le Petit Tresor set; but the glitter bag is too cute to pass up.

Too Faced Le Petit Tresor is a Limited Edition set filled with three full-sized lipsticks from the bestselling La Creme range.

Let me be honest here, I have previously tried Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Marshmallow Pink and as much as I loved its packaging and lemon scent, I wasn't a fan of its formula. I remember Marshmallow Pink sinks into lines and if I didn't exfoliate my lips on the day, it wears very uncomfortable and it makes the flakiness on my lips very obvious. Since then I have sold the lipstick and haven't bought anything from the La Creme range until this Le Petit Tresor holiday set.

So you may ask, if I didn't like the Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks, why did I buy this La Creme Lipstick Trio set?! Well, as I mentioned above, the glitter bag is too pretty to say no to and I thought I should give the La Creme range another go, maybe if I try a shade that is not too pale, it would perform better.

I am actually quite impressed with these lipsticks' performance and I admit that I have fallen deeply in love with Nude Beach.

Too Faced claims these lipsticks are moisturising with rich pigmentation and they help to give your lips a smoother look. These lipsticks are made in Canada and the glitter bag is made in China. Nude Beach and Taffy are both of their bestselling lipsticks; Wham! is a brand new shade.

PACKAGING

Too Faced Le Petit Tresor comes with a little glitter bag that is an exclusive item to the set. It is covered in blueish green glitters all over and it is so tiny that it literally can only fits three Too Faced La Creme lipsticks. The glitters does falls off sometimes, but its material is not cheap; and I love the mini Eiffel Tower.

Too Faced Le Petit Tresor Set - La Creme "Nude Beach" Lipstick

Nude Beach is one of Too Faced's bestselling shades from the La Creme range and it is described as a nude peach shade. This is my favourite kind of nude, it applies nude pink on my lips and the formula is very creamy, it feels like it just melts into my lips and it wears very comfortable. I usually wear light/medium foundation shades, and Nude Beach is the kind of nude that doesn't make me look pale as a ghost. I also love that it makes my lips looks very pouty.

Too Faced Le Petit Tresor Set - La Creme "Taffy" Lipstick

Taffy is another bestselling shades from the La Creme range, it is described as a pink marshmallow nude and it wears more coral pink on me. The application for Taffy was difficult, it always applies uneven, sink into lines and emphasize all the imperfections on my lips.

Too Faced Le Petit Tresor Set - La Creme "Wham!" Lipstick

WHAM! is a brand new shade and it is exclusive to the Too Faced Le Petit Tresor set. The colour is SO beautiful! It's not a colour that I would normally wear, but I love the berry-wine shade with a slight sheen. The colour makes my lips looks pouty, it wears comfortable and it does leaves a bit of red stain when removed. The formula for WHAM! is great, but the application is terrible, it applies uneven and messy.

Overall I think this is such a bargain set and it's worth the purchase. Most of the time holiday makeup sets are filled with tiny, sample size products; I love how Too Faced included three full size products with a cute bag and most of all it is so affordable!
