Peripera Cushion Pang Tint

Today I am reviewing the Peripera Cushion Pang Tint, it is a 2016 newly released lip products that features a soft cushion applicator. There are a total of six colors from the range and at the moment I only have five of them as the orange one is always sold out.

The Peripera Cushion Pang Tint is described as a soft matte lip product with a pigmented rich formula, it has a super silky texture that spreads and blends easily with the cushion tip.

I have been trying the Peripera Cushion Tint for nearly five months now, while the packaging really caught my eyes in the first place and it was love at first sight, my first impression of the actual product wasn't so great. I didn't like how messy it applies and I didn't like that it was so drying; but I wanted to give these a few more tries before I put my full judgement on the products.

Peripera Cushion Pang Tint

  • available in six colors
  • cushion applicator that allows to spread and blends easily
  • high pigmentation, vibrant colors and buildable coverage
  • silky texture that applies with a satin finish then dries matte
  • claims to be fade-proof and stay put all day
  • claims to be nourishing and non-drying during wear

Peripera Cushion Pang Tint comes packaged in an eye-catching cardboard box, the color of the box coordinated with the actual lip tint shade. The cardboard box has a pretty design and a lot of information printed in Korean at the back.

The lip tint itself comes packaged in a pen style with the clicking parts on one end and the cushion tip on the other. At first use it took more than 30 clicks for the products to distribute, and upon second, third, fourth uses and so on... It only takes 1 -2 clicks for the lip tint to come out of the sponge.

As mentioned above, I really like the packaging and it was what caught my attention in the first place. I love the cute stars design and the pretty colors of the packaging. I also really like the slim pen style packaging of the actual product as it is easy to carry around.

I love a lip product with nice fruity scent and the Peripera Cushion Pang Tint has one of those scents that I really like. The fruity scent is strong, but not over-powering and it doesn't lingers around too long after application.

The smell reminds me of those fruit candies I used to eat as a child and I love that it brings back good memories.

Peripera Cushion Pang Tint has a soft and rounded cushion tip and it claims to spread the colors evenly and make application easy.

I find the application to be very messy, it applies uneven and it does not allow me to apply with a precise line because the cushion tip is too rounded, application would be easier if it was designed with a slanted tip.

Although the cushion tip wasn't too impressive, I like that the color is buildable and the formula doesn't feel heavy when layered too much products.

Peripera Cushion Pang Tint is a satin to matte finish, it has a silky texture and it claims to be nourishing and non-drying during wear, which I cannot agree to as I already felt the dryness during the first hour of wear.

Peripera Cushion Pang Tint wears for approximately six hours and during wear it was drying and uncomfortable. The color is not transfer-proof and it does transfer a little amount of lip stains on cups and food, but the color doesn't come off completely.

During wear the lip tint doesn't feather nor bleed and when the color wears off, it fades center first, sometimes it fades into the lip liner look.

Peripera Cushion Pang Tint

I wanted to like the Peripera Cushion Pang Tint badly seeing that it was love at first sight and usually with a product that is so eye-catching at first, I would usually enjoy using; but for some reason, I gave the Cushion Pang Tint many many tries and I just can't get my head around it.

I mostly dislike the cushion tip, it's too rounded, too spongey, too fat, too hard to get in the corner, too messy to apply and I also dislike the dryness during wear. Mind you, the lip tint does not dry to a full matte finish but it is still very drying and uncomfortable unless if I apply lip balms on top.

A few things that I like about the Cushion Pang Tint is the packaging, the design is super cute and it is slim and easy to carry around. I absolutely love the fruity scent, it's not over-powering and it reminds me of childhood candies and one last thing that attracts me is the color selections. I wear MLBB Rose and Trendista Pink the most and those are two of my favourite colors. All the colors from this range is so bright and vibrant and the color is buildable to your desire pigmentation.

have you tried
Peripera Cushion Pang Tint?

  1. I think this tends to be the case with long wearing tints from Korea — they're super drying, totally get what you mean!

  2. Trendista pink and My mine peach are my favorite shades! I've seen these types of products everywhere but I haven't tried any of them. That's too bad that it was so drying and doesn't apply precisely due to the shape of the tip. I don't try much new lip trending products because my lips are super sensitive.
