CANMAKE ♡ 5 Effects Foundation Review

Canmake 5 Effects Foundation is a foundation which combines beauty essence, sunscreen, makeup base, foundation and finishing powder; as stated on the canmake website, with the combination of these five effects, "you can achieve the perfect soft, semi-matte skin for a natural finish that looks like you're not wearing any makeup". I agree it is a very good foundation, but... read on for more ;) cause I want to talk about the cute packaging first ^-^ hehe.

 PACKAGING

Have you ever came across a Japanese beauty brand's packaging that is not kawaii?! I haven't! Here is another adorable packaging from one of my favorite Japanese beauty brand. The Canmake 5 effects foundation is packed in a plastic box in the color pink, purple and transparent. The box has loads of Japanese writing and "5 Effect Foundation" printed on the box.

The foundation compact itself is designed in a round shape with a pink mirror reflects 3D diamond effects on top.  The bottom of the compact is in purple; both are my favorite colors which makes the packaging extra kawaii ~~ Inside the foundation compact, it has a mirror and a clean foundation sponge and underneath the foundation sponge, it has a plastic layer to protect dust from getting on the foundation.

 THE 5 EFFECTS
Below are the 5 effects explained on the canmake website:
♥ Effect 1 - Contains six types of beautifying and moisturizing agents. Moisturizing effect: Sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera extract, hydrolyzed conchiolin, horse chestnut extract, chamomile extract and rosemary extract.
♥ Effect 2 - Thoroughly reduces everyday UV radiation with its UV filters, SPF31 PA++.
♥ Effect 3 - Thoroughly moisturizing makeup base effect.
♥ Effect 4 - Foundation effect that thoroughly covers pores and color irregularities.
♥ Effect 5 - Leave skin silky-smooth, finishing powder effect.

 QUALITY
The Canmake 5 Effects Foundation feels a lot like a BB cream in a pressed compact. I have the shade Natural Ochre #03 which suits me well but sometimes appears too dark for me if I apply too much. Canmake states on their website that this foundation will make you looks like you're not wearing any makeup, which is not true; it is a very creamy pressed foundation so at times it will make you feel like its very cakey if not apply properly.

Below is a picture of the swatches of Canmake 5 Effects Foundation. You can see that it's a very creamy foundation and there is no way it will make you look like you're not wearing any makeup. Actually, I don't think there is any makeup products out there that will make your face look like you're not wearing any makeup :3 Please correct me if I am wrong or if you know of any products that gives you a flawless face pretty please let me know heheh :p

I can not think one negative thing about the Canmake 5 Effects Foundation. I bought this for $30.00NZD, the price is quite reasonable for a product that includes almost everything. So I likey ;) I highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a new foundation or just looking for a new product to try out ^-^ If you're still not sure about this product, below is 2 pictures of me, one with the foundation and one without, you can compare the two and then make your decision :p
