Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush is one of my absolutely favourite blush in my makeup collection, it's seriously ahh-maaaazing! I have never been much of a blush girl, I would rather spend that fifty dollars for a blush on a lipstick instead; but ever since I purchased the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, I have been wanting more!

When I bought the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, at the same time I also purchase the Ambient Lighting Powder; but I later on sold the powder in a makeup group as I didn't feel like it wow me as much as it did to other people. I often see people raves about how glowy and flawless the powder made their skin look, but when I tried on myself, instead of a flawless face, it leaves random patches here and there as if I have dry skin.

I ordered the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion on Mecca Cosmetica; but it was sold out too fast seeing as Mecca was the only NZ online boutique that stocks Hourglass products at the time, probably still is the only online boutique in NZ that stocks the brand. I always buy from Mecca, I love their excellent customer service! Plus, they have recently dropped all their prices and that really excites me! So I got Luminous Flush instead and it is just as gorgeous as the others!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush is described as a "champagne rose", it looks like a pinky-coral; Sephora have described it as "champagne rose blush fused with Luminous Light to evoke a candlelit glimmer". It could change color depending on lighting, most of the time when I apply it while getting ready for work in the morning, it look more like a dark pink color and in the afternoons when I touch-up at work, I could see more coral-ish pink. Does that make sense? I think you will have to try it yourself to understand. ~ :p

I tend to go very heavy handed when applying blush and most of the time I would overdo it which I always end up looking like a clown; Luminous Flush is totally opposite, the powder has a smooth texture and it isn't powdery like the Ambient Lighting Powder. The blush is easy to apply and blend nicely, you can either wear a thin layer for a bit of flush on your cheek, or you can layer it for a more intense look. I am always in a rush while getting ready in the morning, I give myself 15 minutes at most to do my makeup so I don't have a lot of time to blend, blend and blend; I usually just dab my blush brush in the pan and go dab dab on my cheek then swipe outward and I am done!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush wore nicely for eight hours on me, I don't have a clue what happened after LOl, I mean if it fades or what happens after that eight hours?! I always take my makeup off as soon as I arrive at home from work, it's impressive this blush sat nicely on my cheek through my eights hour of work time, it hangs on there even in hot humid days when my face would starts getting oily at around lunch time.

Overall Hourglass is an amazing brand! Expensive, but their products are truly excellent qualities! I have recently tried their Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick and I am thinking of collecting all the shades available cause it is seriously one of the best liquid lipsticks I have tried. I know I probably have said that about the Too Faced Melted liquid lipstick aswell, but if they are really amazing products and worth a try, I would always rave about them and recommend them to you guys, my readers. ^^ ~
