I have this habit of wanting to collect every shades available for a range of product without testing the product first and I sometimes regret this decision after I have finally try out the product; *face palm* when I think of all that money wasted on a product that didn't work.

So now instead of buying every shades available before testing it out, I would only buy all the shades if I have test out a product for awhile and decides I really like it and that I really want to spend my whole week of pay on one product in different color. I used to have this bad habit with shoes, but now I have turn my obsession into makeup, mainly lips products; it's less expensive compare to shoes, but it is still a pretty expensive obsession.

I have been eyeing up on the Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick for a decade! LOL no I exaggerated a bit; but you know what I mean. I have seen so many people raves about this product and also I fell in love with the simple yet very pretty sleek packaging, so I was like, you know what?! I'm going to collect all the shades available from this range (that was before I have test the product).

Now that I have finally tried the product, I am just so glad I have made the right decision of not collecting all twelve shades from this range; or else I would be blaming myself for wasting so much money while I mourn for my bank account.

Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick is described as "a long-wear, full-coverage liquid lipstick with a smooth matte finish", it has 4.5 out of 5 stars from 600+ reviews; I must be the only weird one who thinks this is a hit or miss product.

♥ the color isn't what it's described, it's not a "dusty rose", I was expecting a wearable, office friendly rosey shade but when I have tried it, it is showing as more a brown on me :( a bit disappointing as I have been obsessing over Lolita and had so many plans of wearing it to work grrr.
♥ long-wear ✓ and full-coverage ✓
♥ application wasn't easy due to hands shaking and long applicator, not used to it >.<
♥ VERY, VERY DRYING :(
♥ the formula is very similar to Australis Velvourlips, after applying the liquid lipstick, it instantly feels heavy and patchy, not sure how to described it but it was uncomfortable when wearing it.
♥ overall it's nice to finally try it but I probably wouldn't re-purchase.

Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick - Lolita

I have recently purchased Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in the shade Canvas, it is a bit similar to KVD Lolita; Canvas is more pinky than brown. I have been loving the Hourglass liquid lipstick and I wear it on most days that I wear makeup. It is twice as expensive as any other liquid lipsticks and it is a bit drying but I love it so much and I personally think it's more worth it to buy the Hourglass one than Kat Von D.

Anyway, are you a fan of the Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks? What shades have you tried and recommend?
