MEMEBOX ♥ Special #31 Earth & Sea Cosmetics Unboxing + Initial Thoughts

By now I have cancelled all other beauty subscription services and I only purchase from Memebox from now on, can't get enough of their never-ending surprises!

I have tried Sample Bar (which has been closed down), Goodie Box, Violet Box and Lip Monthly; not trying to be negative and a sulky here, but I never liked any of those boxes because it's just not worth your $30! Many of these boxes claims to contains deluxe sample sizes of products, but most of the times they only gives you foil pack to try... Umm hello?! Foil packs you can get them for free! Besides the foil packs, these companies are like obsessed with fake tan mousse, I just don't get it?

Memebox is so much better! They are not a monthly subscription thing, they don't take money out of your bank monthly and delivers a box of beauty goodies to your door by the end of the month. Instead they have many different themes of boxes available on their website which you can purchase anytime you like, they don't deliver straight away, sometimes you purchase a box now and in their description they would state the box would send out in December or something, overall they just never disappoints you! Plus, all the products in the boxes are all full size and their customer service is amazing! If you have a problem, email them and they replies within 24 hours!

Anyway, I went a bit Memebox craze awhile ago and recently I have received an email saying I am now a VIP at Memebox! Woohoo ~ LOL, I didn't even know this things exist! Last week I have received two boxes I ordered awhile ago, I will talk through one of them today. ^^

How to use:
Spread the Mask Cleansing Foam evenly over dry face. Then, wet it with a little bit of water and gently roll your fingers thoroughly over your face for 5~15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Have I tried it?: Yes.

My thoughts: Collagen from pig skin sounds eeky and spider extracts just gives me goosebumps and that very heavy feeling, like when you're scared or nervous. The thought of applying spider extracts product on your face is as scary as a snake massage. I have tried this over the weekend and while applying the mask cleanser, I had to either look down or close my eyes, I couldn't bring myself to look at the mirror and it sounds silly! So I first apply the mask cleansing foam to my dry face, it smells weird and it goes on black; then I jump in the shower five minutes later, I avoid getting water in my face, but still see black water dripping LOl it's like dripping black ink from my face! After I am nearly done with shower, I then clean off the mask cleansing foam while massaging my face. The result came out pretty good, it made my face super smooth like a baby bum!

P.S During the application, my face felt very tingly.

My thoughts: This is one of my favourite products from this box! I like to spray all over my face after cleansing and sometimes spray before applying makeup, it makes my face feels very refreshing and it smells so nice and relaxing!

Dewytree Mineral Heahty Sun Cut Loose Powder SPF36 PA++ 10g

On my face: Hourglass Veil Mineral Powder > MAC Pro Longwear Foundation > Dewytree Mineral Loose Powder

My thoughts: Before trying this I thought the powder shade is a bit too pale for me, turns out this is a translucent powder, ones that you set your makeup with. So I tried it yesterday and I nearly had a chocking attack! The powder comes with one of those screwey sponge which you are suppose to pat it on your face and then blend either with your fingers or the sponge. The powder does made my face look flawless, but during the application, the powder seems to go everywhere and made me feel all chocky! Pretty sure I ate a lot of those powders yesterday, cause during dinner last night, I was coughing really hard :( felt as if my throat is having a smoke attack and I can taste the powder, taste sweet and smells like Chinese medicine. I think the spongey applicator is not practical, maybe use a powder brush next time.

Tosowoong Super Aqua Cooling Gel 80g

My thoughts: First of all, I love the packaging and the color of the gel! I have only tried this once, so I can't comment much; but I can say right now is that this cooling gel is very moisturizing, I have used once before I go to bed and the next morning I would wake up with a very smooth face.

Secret Nature Volcanic Ash Pore Pack 100g

Have I tried it?: Yes.

My thoughts: This is the main reason I bought the Earth & Sea Cosmetics box! Memebox often does a unboxing sneakpeek ^^ ~ I have been eyeing up a volcanic mask for a long time, the brand didn't matter to me but I just wanted to see if volcanic ash really can help with pore and acne. This works amazing on me! It goes on black and dries dark grey ish, after about 15 minutes it hardens up then you gotta rinse off with warm water. After that my face feels instantly smooth ass! I love it! Honestly, if I didn't purchase the Earth & Sea box, I would definitely order this on eBay!

Overall Thoughts

I always get really excited when I receive a Memebox skincare box cause I know they will always impress me with their amazing selections! I have always wondered about volcanic ash and charcoal products, I've wondered if it's really that good for your skin and or if it's really as amazing as what everyone says, been so curious! So instead of going on eBay and deciding what item would suit me or what I would buy, also the struggle of considering if I will spend $20 on one product, it's really nice to just get a box, with a mixture of products that has been on my wishlist for a long time for me to finally be able to try.

The Earth & Sea Cosmetics box is worth $153, I have tried a majority of the products and I enjoy most of them, so it's already very worth it in my opinion!

Review ♥ Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub

Coffee junkie? Skincare freak? Sucker for cute product packagings? OMG You need to try this: Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub! 

Even if you say no to all three question marks above, it would be nice to try this scrub anyway, it smells so sooo nice and freshing and this is one of those products worth trying out, if you enjoys trying out new things.

There is another version of the Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub which comes in a white coffee mug instead of this brown one. I believe that one is an old version and the one I am reviewing today is the new version with new packaging. I am not sure if there is a difference between the two, but from all the reviews I have read of others bloggers, these two products are pretty much the same with different packagings. (Please correct me if I am wrong).

I don't think you can purchase the old version anymore, I may be wrong thou, but because every time I type in "Tony Moly Latte Art" into the eBay search bar, it only shows the new brown packaging.

There is also another Tony Moly latte art product which is the Tony Moly Latte Art Milk-Cacao Pore Pack, it comes in a white coffee mug with one of those swirl nutella bottles and that is a total different thing to the scrub I am showing you today.

Packaging:
Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub comes packaged in a cute little coffee mug with a transparency body which allows you to see how much product is left in the mug. The cap is a dark brown color with a white and brown swirl prints printed on the top of the cap, if looking far away with the cap twisted closed, it looks kind of realistic.

There is a spatula slides on top of the cap which is suppose to be the spoon that you stir your coffee with. The whole thing is made out of plastic, but it's not one of those cheap feel / looking plastic, it is actually quite sturdy and the coffee mug looks flash in a more kawaii way.

I actually quite like having a spatula that comes with your skincare products. The spatula makes the whole applying process easier without having to poke my finger into the scrub, it's not only not hygiene using your fingers but it also makes a huge mess. I also like to use the spatula to scoop out just the enough amount of scrub without wasting products.

Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub contains ingredients of coffee and milk extracts and it can remove flaky, dry and dead skin cells as well as providing nutrition to the skin. The scrub is made for all skin type and as you massage it on your face, it changes color from a dark brown to an almost white-ish light brown.

Texture:
The texture of the Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub is very thick and gel like, the scrub itself is in a true coffee dark brown color and inside the scrub, it's filled with a bunch of white beads which Tony Moly have described them as grains.

When using the scrub, I often get this warm feeling when I first apply it on my face then it disappear within minutes as I rub the scrub on my skin in circular motion. Tony Moly have stated in their product description that when it's warming up, it is when the scrub is doing its deep cleanse into your pores. As soon as I am done with the rubbing, rinse off with warm water (I usually use this scrub in the shower), I instantly get this fresh feeling, as if I just had my morning coffee.

 Scent:
When sniffing Tony Moly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub from the mug, it smells bitter, as if you forgot to add sugar in your coffee. It doesn't smell bad, but it just takes some times to get used to if you are not a plain coffee drinker. Once you have apply the scrub on your face, you can smell a very fancy, rich coffee smell.

I am not a coffee addict, I don't always have to have at least one cup of coffee a day and I don't go into bad mood if I don't have my coffee in the morning; but I absolutely love this scrub! It smells amazing, the packaging is super kawaii and the scrub made my face feels very smooth after each use.

I would highly recommend anyone to try this, whether you are a coffee lover or jut neutral, if you haven't tried this yet, do it now! Oh, one last thing, don't try and eat the scrub heheh. :p

MEMEBOX ♥ SuperBox #1 Korea Beauty Boxes

I have been wanting to try Ipsy, Birchbox, Glossybox and all other well-known beauty subscription boxes but sadly these companies only accepts orders within USA. So I was looking for a new beauty box subscription company that is within /or ships to New Zealand when I came across Beauty Review. One of the girls in the forum have asked for a list of beauty subscription boxes that ships to New Zealand and someone have mentioned MemeBox, so of course, I checked it out straight away!

MemeBox is not a monthly beauty boxes subscription. From what I understand from the website, MemeBox is situated in Korea and they put together different boxes series like "MemeBox", "SuperBox" and "LuckyBox" which features samples to deluxe and full sizes of Korean beauty and skincare products, they don't just offer one box per month. They would offer a few different boxes at the same time and once the box is sold out, it's gone forever!

My first time ordering from MemeBox, I bought the Superbox #1 which cost USD$69.99 + tax (USD$5.77). Stated on their website this is their very first Superbox which contains full size makeup and skincare products from Korea, value at over USD$150.00 and for this box they offer free shipping which could take up to 24 business days for delivery.

My first impression when I received the box was, it's such a gorgeous packaging! Pink and simple ~~ On the inside of the box it has some Korean writings which I don't understand =.= and the package comes with a card inside stating (in English) what products are in this box, how to use these products and how much are the retail prices etc.

I have received a total of seven full size products from Superbox #1, including six skincare products and only one makeup product. A bit disappointed as I was hoping for more beauty products than skincare! But I still love this, read more to find out why ;)

Natural Cocoon Peeling Silk Balls - 1 Pack

 I have used these twice and I have noticed it clean and smooth my face; but I probably won't go out and buy them if these runs out, it's not a must-have for me.

 I have been using this everyday since I received it, not that I need to "fight the appearance of aging and winkles" hehe but I do have some dry patches on my face and when using this it smoothed my skin.Very hydrating and my face appears with hardly any dry patches since using this!

Cheekroom's Lip & Cheek - 7 g
Cheekroom's Lip & Cheek is a creamy, non-greasy, easy to apply lip stain and blush. Whether you need to highlight, plump and or add that natural flush of color, this product does it all as it claims on the MemeBox website.

Recipe Slowganic Cleanser - Lemon - 100 g

 I have used this several times and overall I like it. At first it is a bit awkward using a soap on my face and I have to constantly remind everyone in my house, it's a soap for your face or my face not for your hands! LOL! I really enjoy using this soap bar as most soaps leaves my skin very dry, yet this one smooth out my skin and made my face feels like a baby bum!

Tea Tree Mask - 3 Sheets
This is a facial sheet mask for acne-prone skin that soothes the skin troubles and controls excessive sebum with powerful ingredients tea tree oil. It enhance skin complexion and brightens the dark spots. Simply wash your face to remove makeup and any dirts, gently unfold mask and place on your face, adjust the eyes, nose and mouth opening. Relax for 10 - 20 minutes with mask in place then remove the mask from your face and discard. No need to rinse, massage remaining product into your face.

Tea Tree Mask - 1 Sheets for USD$10.00

 I haven't had time to use this yet but I like that MemeBox have included 3 sheets of mask in this box. Usually when companies only offer one sheet of mask for you to try out, you can't say much?!~ So I am really excited to try these and I will let you all know if this is worth the money!

MemeBox have recently changed their shipping policies which they are now only able to ship their boxes and products to USA, Canada and Japan. I have contacted them regarding this matter, I wanted to know if they are still able to ship to other counties besides the ones stated above, for old customers but they have not reply me! Will keep you updated once they have reply my email.

I am overall very impressed with MemeBox and their customer service! The package takes approximately 7 days to get to me, it package so well and nothing came broken. All products are full size just as it stated on the website. Overall I am happy and I highly recommend you all to try out these beauty boxes if you live in either USA, Canada or Japan ~~

UPDATE: MemeBox returned my email last night and this is what they said:

I spotted these in the Japanese store at my local Westfield mall few days ago and at first I had no idea what it is, I mean I know it's a lip product but everything is written in Japanese and that's all too confusing to understand. I then searched it up on Google and found out that it's a lip gel mask! How awesome is that?! Google fix all your problems!

Pure Smile Choosy Lip Mask contains Vitamin E Collagen and Hayluronic Acid which reduces fine lines and leaves your lips moisturized. (These informations were found from Amazon / eBay, cause you know, I can't read Japanese =.=). It is recommend to use once per gel mask but my mother and I don't like to waste product so she uses one side and I use another side ;) These lip gel mask are also recommended to use on your ( . )( . ) <--- you know what that is? *see picture below*, the mask will keep them moisturized when they gets dry.

Purse Smile Choosy Lip Mask is made in Korea and there are five flavours to choose from: peach, milk, fruit, herb and honey. I bought a peach flavour and a honey flavour and so far I have used the honey one and my gawsh it smells amazeball! Just like honey ~ I have purchased these for NZD$7.00, pretty pricey but you can also get them for cheaper price from eBay / Amazon / Imomoko etc...

The instruction at the back recommended to use these for at least 5 - 30 minutes, I have tried mine with 30 minutes and the result was fabulous! This lip mask is very gel like so you will have to be-careful not to rip it, cause I did! I didn't expect it to be so soft and fragile!

This is me, bare face :P I thought it'd be uncomfortable to wear makeup and a lip mask at the same time. Now you see the girl behind that cake face! Joke Joke ~ I love makeup ♥

Below is a before, during and after picture; as you can see the result was amazing! After 30 minutes use my lips feels so soft and smooth and it smell so good, just like honey.
