Earlier in May I have reviewed the Chantecaille Elephant Cheek Shade in Fun (a gorgeous soft apricot blush colour with a hint of gold), although my first impression of the product was good, I love the packaging of the actual blush and I like that it feels so luxurious; sadly, it has not become my favourite nor have I used it too often. It's not because the product quality is not up to standard, but because I feel like Chantecaille's Limited Edition products are prettier to look at, than actually using it. This is just a personal preference.

As you would know, I am obsessed with anything cute and almost all Chantecaille Limited Edition Collections are too adorable to pass. My latest purchase from Chantecaille is the Ella blush from the Protect The Wolves Collection and today I am sharing with you swatches and my first impression of this product.

CHANTECAILLE PROTECT THE WOLVES CHEEK SHADE is described as a luxurious, weightless powder that effortlessly adheres to cheeks to create a natural flush of colour. It is a Limited Edition blush with a velvety, softly tinted and buildable formula that blends beautifully and lasts throughout the day. 5% of the proceeds are donated to the Conservation Northwest, an organisation that protects wolves in the wild.

MY FIRST IMPRESSION

ELLA is a warm nude pink that has a good pigmentation yet applies very subtle and the colour is buildable. It has a silky and soft texture that blends nicely and I absolutely adore its' wolf embossed on the actual blush. The wolf embossed was my main reason of buying this product even though I have expected it to fade within a few swatches, I don't mind.

  1. Pretty! I've never thought that I would like or look good in a baby pink/pale pink blush but after my experience with one in the last year I quite like these light shades. On me, they somehow look more rosey one on my cheeks but it's super flattering. I've seen some GORGEOUS pieces from Chantecaille, especially previously blushes and bronzer I think with a bit of a gold over spray with torqoises embossed.
