Today I am sharing with you swatches of the ELF Matte Lip Collection that I have recently purchased, despite swearing that I would never buy ELF Cosmetics again due to some very horrible experience in the past. 

I decided to give it another chance as ELF Cosmetics' prices are always so temping, plus their Matte Lip Color is actually amazing stuff. So in my recent order I bought the ELF Matte Lip Collection in the Collector's Edition and it features 12 of the best-selling ELF Matte Lip Colors.

ELF Disney Ariel Bronzed Beauty Set ☆ Swatches

Back when Tumblr was popular, I met this girl in one of those girly networks things; we started out as just two makeup addicts doing makeup swaps, then we later became really good friends who tells each other stories and occasionally sends each other presents etc... 

Today I want to show you this ELF Disney Ariel Bronzed Beauty Set that she gifted me this past Christmas, I was so glad to receive an ELF Disney set because: 

1) they are not available in New Zealand and sometimes you just want things that you don't have, 2) Arghhh mermaid is so my thing, I love Ariel! 3) can't get enough of bronzers.

*deep breath* can we all just take a minute to admire this beautiful packaging?! Firstly, the bronzed beauty set comes packaged in an aqua color cardboard box featuring an under the sea theme; then the bronzer itself has Ariel's face printed on the cover. I struggle a little when deciding if I want to throw the box away *sigh*.

The back of the cardboard box has all the bronzed beauty set description, directions of use, ingredients list and just the basic information you need to know about this product.

ELF Disney Ariel Bronzed Beauty Set includes a bronzer and a mini kabuki face brush, this is a Limited Edition set which released from the ELF Disney Ariel Collection sometimes last year.

I have never tried an ELF bronzer before and I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the product. The bronzer contains two shades and two formulas, majority of its background is made of a dark bronzed matte and on the surface it has a few dots of golden shimmer splatter throughout the bronzer.

The texture of the matte bronzer is a bit chalky when I did my arm swatch, the shimmer part is, shimmery and velvety soft; when swirl both colors together, the overall texture feels creamy and velvety.

What I love most about this bronzer is the pigmentation, it is quite sheer, which means I can build it up to my desire shade and also the bronzer doesn't appear as a muddy color on me.

I feel like the mini kabuki face brush included in the set is useless for the bronzer, the handle is too small for my liking, the bristle feels very plastic-y and scratchy and it doesn't pick up any products!

I find it rather useful when using it to apply the Urban Decay Beauty Balm, despite its scratchy bristle, it seem to delivers a smooth and flawless application.

The ELF Disney Ariel Bronzed Beauty Set is a lovely bronzer set to own and try, especially if you love Ariel; it is such a beautiful product inside out. I know I may have blogged about this a bit too late, since it was released over six months ago, plus, this was fairly cheap when it first released, I can only imagine people who bought bulk lot of this item wants double, if not, triple the price for a set.

Some items from the ELF Disney Ariel Collection is still available to purchase on eBay and Amazon, try your luck ;) may be you can score a few at a very cheap price.

iHerb Haul ♡ Everyone Is Talking About It.

iHerb is the most talked about online stores on Beauty Review and if I didn't join the BR forum, I would've never find out about this awesome website! Even if I did, I probably wouldn't purchase from the site cause it looks confusing and it's just not the type of online stores that I always shop from.

So far I have only made one purchase from the site and I always head straight to the beauty section and sometimes the snack and chocolate section. iHerb sells things from skin care, bath & beauty to grocery, pets, sports, herbs and more.

From my first purchase, I bought four E.L.F cosmetics lips products. E.L.F is so SO affordable on iHerb! Prices are as low as only $1.99 for a lip gloss. I got a matte lip color in the shade coral, two luscious liquid lipsticks in the shades pink lemonade and strawberry and also a plumping lip glaze in the shade fire coral.

I have been eyeing up on the Physician's Formula Nude Wear blush for a long time, but it is very hard to find in New Zealand. Super glad to find it on iHerb! I bought this for the pretty packaging. LOl :p

Not much a fan of these twisty tubes >.<, takes forever to squeeze out some products. I must say thou, for $1.99 it's very worth it! The colors are all super gorgeous ~

Besides all those you see above, I also got a Real Techniques complexion sponge, EcoTools kabuki brush (both had a bath time, so they didn't appear in their photoshoot :p), Nestle hot chocolate mix (OMG yummies drink for breakfast at work! It's out of stock at the moment :( waiting for iHerb to restock so I can get more ^-^) and Pretzel in milk chocolate (mmm so yum! I love pretzel!).

The Beauty Tag ♥ With Photos

I wasn't tag by anyone *boo-hoo*, but it's okay ^^ I came across The Beauty Tag on Fifi's blog and it seems like a fun tag to do so here I go...

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners and lip product or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
I can't go a day without lip products, so I choose to lose the palettes and eyeshadows.

 
2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
That's a super hard choice, I cry everytime I get my hair cuts lol! But if I never be able cut my hair again, I would get so annoyed.. so I choose to chop off! *owwh*

3. If you had $500, would you spend it on clothes or make up? 
Definately makeup!

4. Would you rather only use one eye-shadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
I would rather use one lip color for the rest of my life and that is... P I N K ♥

 
5. Bright nails or nude nails all year round?
I like both bright and nude nails and I often wear pink :)

 
6. Would you rather never be able to use lipgloss or paint your nails again?
I love lip products, but lipgloss is not a must have in my life.

I haven't found my 'perfect' mascara but I love all Maybelline waterproof ones.

I like medium to full coverage, but sometimes I like as minimal as possible. I am always changing... Here are a few of my main foundations.

I don't have a favourite drugstore beauty brand, but I seem to own a lot of Maybelline products, so I guess it's Maybelline.

I love MAC!

Not much a fan of this body butter I am currently using. It's The Body Shop's grapfruit body butter and the smell is too much for me! I still prefer body butter over lotion any day.
